The movie sort of misrepresented that point. Twin Galaxies rejected the tape after the event. I think Water Day was basically pressured into accepting it by Billy, then realised his mistake later.

If anyone has Netflix, there's an awesome story on the battle of D.K. champion and a few other classic arcade games. It was worth watching in my opinion. And I was glad to see Mr. Wiebe get his glory that he was so deserving. Just from watching the documentary I can tell Billy Mitchell is a complete A-hole. And his ''video high score'' shouldn't have been accepted since they agreed it had to be validated live. All I can say was I loved the ending, way to go Steve! My hats off to you!
