U don't have to be an expert to know how an artists record sales R doing. I don't know where ur from but over here we've got something called a chartlist and on that list u can see how much records an artist sales in their first week.....for and up and comin artist it's acceptable when it's over 70.000 copies, when it's less ur not doin that good.

And I'm an songwriter for Sony BMG, so I have to keep myself up to date huh :)
