  • fule injection ??!?!?! I thought the ninnja 250R has a carburetor

  • pretty funny, i looked at my bikes vin number and its made in thailand, its japanese lol

  • Would love one. Moving up from a 125cc scooter (yeah, go ahead and laugh). I'm just not sure 125cc -> 250cc is enough of a jump and if I'll 'outgrow' it or not like I did the scooter. BUT... That said I (oddly) don't ride for the speed, it's more the riding itself. Just a little hard to do the speed limit on the scooter sometimes... @_@

  • Why does aussie bikes be carbonated engines...........

  • i dont speak yen, faggot

  • Haha, the guy said homo:D 1:17

  • @MitchGuitar12 HAHAHAHAAHH!!! Oh gawd. ^^

  • I am so getting one of these when I move out (My mom doesn't want me riding a motorcycle while I still live there)

  • fuckin adsss

  • jy, im 183cm high, will this bike be a little small for me? i mean will i look like a retard while driving it? xD

  • i already wrecked my crankshaft and distribution after 27000 km's lucky i still had guaranty for a few more days

  • Love the bike. But this narrator guy sounds like a fkn dooshbag

  • so how much would this bike cost brand new in US currency?

  • @TTT808killa under 4k, i'm sure... kawi's website lists the msrp for 2010 & 2009 models so i'm sure it has to be less than that... my 2010 special edition 250 cost 5200 after taxes & fees...

  • mcn review said top speed 110 mph

  • So sexy... Love it<3

  • best motorcycle and best color !!

  • sorry but the error of the pipol who design this model are in this bike have 2 cilindric and the model 1999 zxr 250 are of 4 cilindric and the sound is the best the sound is unvaliable.... are with a placer of god listen de sound of model 250 of the year 1999

  • There's nothing clunky about this bike,I own one and for practical riding it has no equal. I have tried many! It's fast enough, agile and very dependable. Anyone with minor mechanical skill can perform their own repairs and maint.

  • im 5"4, im turning 15 1/2 this summer, im tending to buy this bike.

    1. can i still ride it since i was kinda short?

    2. should i get the brand new one, or a used one?

  • yes you can and you should buy used

  • @binhvo2509 yea u should buy an used one and yes u can ride it

  • haha are you turning 15 years and 6 months this summer lol........

  • yea haha. Im so excited for this

  • the colours are green, red, black and blue

  • quite Expensive for such an small bike!

  • im six foot 2 can i ride that bike since it said that it's for women and short riders only

  • Yeh it works for taller riders as well

  • still has the clunky gpx250 motor.

  • whats the difference between the 2008 n the 2009?

  • they have 4 colours now

  • i like the 2009 model better.. cause thats what i got :P special edition no less

  • fuel injected? not in america

  • Not in Australia either. Fuel injected is only for the European market. Kind of sad....

  • just get my P lience...

but my dad said that after P then can ride if not will get saman

  • so that bike costs 474286 yen or £3103.18 thats not to bad but weird that they go as far as 286 and not just say 475000

  • 1:22 "and Has been specifically designed for women and SHORT riders"

that a plus for me, since im a short guy.

  • yeah me too

  • good bike? It cheaper then a car lol, so you know

  • so sick, cant wait to get one when i turn 18.

  • Comment removed

  • man i want one soo bad

  • yea, thats no fun : (

  • This is great for Norway! Here, when you're 18, you can only ride bikes with 25kw or less, and that is exactly what the ninja's got! :D

Then, after two years, or when you are 21, you can ride bikes with as much power you like :)

  • i was able to start riding legally when i was 15, but the bike had to be 250cc or under and when i turned 16 that restriction was lifted off.

  • Lucky you :( Here, when you turn 16, you can either get the 50cc license, or you can get the the 125cc license for approximately 3000 dollars :(

  • sweet!

    Rock on my Norwegian brother!!!!!

  • ahaha, YEAH

  • æ d ikke 16 år da?

  • nope

  • nei, det er 125cc. Mellomklasse er 34 hk, dobbelt så mye som 125. Man kan kjøre 600 med mellotung lappen, men den blir strupet til 34 hk.

  • this bike is the best !!

  • awesome!

  • i have a kawasaki is very powerfull

  • i checked into one of these for my son. loved the numbers. enough power to go onto the highway, but not past 100mph. great gas mileage with the new bikes, a lot better than the earlier ones. insurance was cheaper than i thought! its not a super bike class. great styling for a young kid, great for 250cc range. trust me i searched for little less bike, dollar for dollar a great deal. hes going to be getting one next year. i'm so glad its not going to be a 600cc bike, i'm still a parent.

  • right... i think u need 2 hear what he said..its specifically designed for girl and shorter rider and im sure it can go above 100 mph since a rs 125 unrestricted can reach 106mph though im fairly sure ive heard higher top end

  • @onemarktwoyou dont forget to get a good helmet..

  • @onemarktwoyou I have had 110mph on mine easily top 115mph :)

  • @onemarktwoyou I wish my daddy got me one too :D

  • @onemarktwoyou

    cool dad

  • @onemarktwoyou I wish my parents would get me something like this, I had to buy my own car, pay my own insurance, and pay for gas. (Worked my ass off with my uncle's asphalt company in New York for a few summers to save up for my car)

I know your son is going to be very happy when he gets his new bike.

  • @xXDevineKingXx right now i found a 2005 500cc version with 3500 miles on it. and he is helping me work on the guys house in trade. i am making him work for it. he's 15 years old. but, i couldn't find a 250 used that was in good condition. one thing people needs to know that small cc engines rap going down the rode. and i have a friend"body man"that will fix the crack in the the plastic and repaint it kaw green, when said and done i'll have $200 out of pocket and a bike with two weekends worked

  • @onemarktwoyou luky, man i wish i was related to you what year maybe ill force my parents to get me on hahah

  • @onemarktwoyou

I know im a year late into this, but its no crime being a parent. Its like a gift.

I bet your son loves and respects you much more than you could imagine.

    cheers

  • GO GreeN!!! Kawasaki!!!

  • fa cagare

  • Why Green?

  • Green because it's the colour of envy.. and I know i envy anyone with one of these :)

  • Ha ha, nice one... me too i am getting greener by the day.... but it's envy in a good way. he he

  • iflyuby is wrong i have a kawasaki dirtbike and i havene

    t had any problems yet

  • Comment removed

  • Sounds like iflyuby takes no for an answer too easily. If you aren't full of $#!+, as I suspect you are, then there would be no reason for warrantied parts to not be covered. You said you called them. How can anyone fix anything on the phone?

These are great machines, and if you pussy out with your dealer or won't stand up to him, that's your fault. Not Kawi's.

  • You are an idiot. Your problems stems form a shady dealership not a issue with the bike persay. Yes a lot dealerships are full of assholes wanting to get over a person they suspect to be a "sucker". Find a better mechanic that knows what they are doing. You are also allowed to get the bike serviced at other dealerships who are certified to do so by Kawi dealers/service shops in your area.

  • 10.000USD in my country!

  • this motorcycle cost less then my mountain bike and this has a engine...LOL

  • yeah but with gas and insurance...i think its a lot more exspensive

  • I could be wrong, but I think the brake facts are wrong. Lucky fuel injected bastards. And why no red in Japan?

I love my green 250r. BTW: Mine was $3750 USD

  • what year?

  • 2008. In Minnesota, the tax and registration are all F'd up. I didn't pay either until 9 months after I'd owned it. Here's what you have to do. Find the most isolated, BFE, bumpkin Kawi dealer within 300 miles of you. Go there. Their business will be slow, sales will be down, and if you show up with cash in hand, you run the show.

Tough economic times = great prices on big purchases.

  • what year?

Is that include tax and tag?

    thank

  • the japanese 1 is female speaker

  • no shit

  • I'M GETTING BLACK!

And then, to throw it sll off, I'm getting a lime green outfit with a black/white helmet and a lime green mohawk!

  • IM GETTING BLUE!, sorry but is black bad? because at night?

  • I doubt blue would be any better at night, also i hear red is only good during the day :o

  • the only good colour during the night would be florescent yellow.

  • Well, at night it isn't that good I guess. But as long as you put some reflectors on you, your bike, your helmet, and your boots, you should be OK. It would be smart to put some on your backpack too if you have one.

  • Kawasaki Ninja 250R is a Good Starter Sport Bike!

Too bad that USA Market don't have the Honda CBR 250RR, which is another Good Starter Sport Bike!

  • good for starter bike :) very confortable for take the road , not only sport

  • When i first started to hear the speaker say... The base price is 474,286... i was like.... four hundred thousand.... then I heard Yen and I was like... oh. haha.

Great Bike, I'm getting it for sure sometime next year.

  • how much?

  • 4 G's

  • not now i think it's three with that specail going on. go to kawasaki website

  • hey guys , sorry but if your can listining good at 42 sec they say fuel is sprayed by an injection system. this system is also used by de kawa faktory team.

only kawa drivers are really listining to this story out of respect

    greets holland

  • He referred to the fuel injection, but doesn't it use a carburetor?

  • you can get either one

  • 250r nice

but here in the US CA 2 be exact

    it has carburators not PFI

  • hemosa la ninja 250 sin palabras

  • esta bestial, yo acabo de ordenar una verde pero del 2009, estan totalmente agotados de 2008

  • Why??? do you ride your grandma's motor scooter???

  • Yeormom sorry..I spammed you by accident..I meant to click reply...They did not add Fuel Injection because if they did the price of the bike would have gone even more up...

  • Hey fellas, just wondering how many kilometers/miles you should do on it to break it in? Also, what happens if it is not broken in properly before you rev it heaps? Consequences?

    Cheers

  • I have the 09Ninja 250R and according to the manual it says that the first 1000 miles is considered the break in zone...

  • what is a break in?

  • A engine term that meant don't ride your motorcycle/motorized vechicle really hard or don't run the engine aT one speed for long distances. This is a gradual process and you will notice the engine becoming less tight.Ride at normal speeds but still try & avoid riding @ high speeds like 75+ MPH until fully broken in by 1,000 miles after which you don't have to use this rule.Meaning to keep varying the engine rpm until the engine & other parts were properly lubricated,worn-in like it was designed.

  • break in is when you get a new bike or car your not suppose to just go loose on the engine your suppose to ride frequently but not hitting throttle completley nore makeing the bike working extra hard or harder then it needs to after the first 1000 miles your good to do what ever you want with it

  • i couldnt watch the video i was too busy looking at the crazy shit at the bottom of the screen

  • paskaa

  • At what mph does the final gear redline on this bike?

  • max speed is a bit over 100mph

  • Max speed on my stock 09 Ninja 250R is 103..so far thats pretty much were it stayed at...Right before I got pulled over by a Highway patrol and got a ticket, yesterday....

  • damn that sucks man

  • all the same its still an awsome bike

  • LMAO!! Don't, tell me you just compared a beginners 250cc sport bike to a top of the range 1300cc hyper sport?!

  • wait just saw that post below mine. nevermind

  • fuel injection? i thought they used a carb so they could keep the price down?

  • no , this bike is... carborated.

  • That's just the American version.

  • So why did they gimp the North American release without FI?

  • Read my comment in the first one.....

  • you guys should do news on GTR

  • thanks m8 much needed!!!!!!
