i have to ask is the silencer really worth buying for the gun? i'm two minds whether to get one, do they really silence? Also what do you have to make the bolt action so smooth and effortless to cock, mines no where near that smooth.

@maxrylluc personal record is somewhere around 92meters, haven't tried anything further so don't know. anything up to around 70m is an easy target if he's not in cover

@maxrylluc fact is that when your target is closer than 100ft i'd switch to my sidearm if i were you... but that's just me :-p i got some TM pistols and they are very accurate, allows me to take out targets up to 100ft with ease, so i don't have to use the high power sniper on them :-p

@svendewulf my secondary also got a good accuracy, but like we talk about unfair player, hit by 420fps sniper riffle they didn't say hit, furthermore using a pistol from 100ft distance...it's so ridiculous

@svendewulf not all players cheats, but actually 0ne cheaters make the other influenced... btw this morning i shot several times with 0.25 madbull bbs and a quarter hop up adjustment, the result is 180feet before the bbs felt down, my fps is 425fps, i can't wait for laylax 150sp to come, hope i can get 500+ fps and of course a nice arm muscles (*need enough power to cocking with 500fps)

@maxrylluc only 180ft on 425fps? my bro's L96 shoots a soft 380fps and it is capable of hitting targets out to 220ft... you might wanna take a look at your hop-unit/barrel. fps is only a number, it's the complete package that makes or breaks your guns performance. a friend of mine had a VSR G-spec at 290fps and could hit targets out to 200ft. he is a airsoft-god when it comes to performance-upgrades... also has a 460fps Hicapa racegun which he build from scratch :-p

@svendewulf 380fps out of 220 ft??? give me a clue to make that further...mine using 9ball hop up rubber and vsr hop up chamber (since mine is only the TM replicas JG bar-10). i shot 180ft with 0.25 bbs and a quarter set of hop up....so can you tell me the secret of your friend job to make it that further? bbs?hop up etc

@maxrylluc he won't tell me...:-( so i don't know but he has been customizing and upgrading airsoft guns for over 6 years now :-p 9-ball hop rubbers aren't bad, but i find that the original TM hops work even better, though they wear out a bit faster. do you have a tightbore barrel installed? otherwise i can reccomend the PDI 6.01 series barrel, they are among the best i've used. and also in price. for hop adjustement just keep increasing hop until it goes up a bit, then one step back

@svendewulf i use EDGI 6.00 509mm long, lower barrel than PDI but have reasonable price....i'd changed my spring into laylax pss130, but still not increasing the range....i thing it's 80% the hop up mechanism, i'd try add more adjustment, the bb's going up then i step down, but still only 180ft far...or perhaps i should try 0.3 bbs?

@maxrylluc maybe your barrel is too tight and prevents the bb from gettin up to speed...

@maxrylluc yeah but a 6.00 is a verrrrry tight barrel, if the bb's you are using are 5.98mm +/- 0.01mm then you're getting a gap around the bb of less than 0,015mm and maybe the air cushion around the bb is too thin thus not strong enough too keep the bb from hitting the walls... if you can borrow a barrel from a friend or so, you might just wanna try it out with a 6.02 or somting and see if that is better or not. next step is the hopup i guess

@svendewulf my bbs is a good bbs, around 5.95-5.96mm degradable bbs. i have tm 6.03mm inner barrel got worse condition than if i use the edgi 6.00. the hop up also good rubber of nineball hop up, the hop up chamber was TM.180feet is a straight shot bbs, if i use parabolic shot, maybe hit targets about 220-250feet using 0.25gr bbs. i haven't try for 0.30 bbs because 0.30bbs is rareable to be used in a skirmish. so what do you think it's good enough or not good enough???

@svendewulf my false sven, i got a wrong conversion, it should be 60m=197feet. for the first time i just multiply the 60m by 3 to be converted in a feet measurement...so back to the first report 197feet/60m with 0.25bbs using 425fps with 6.00mm barrel 509mm long...do you think it's a enough distance???

but still i'm curious with 220feet with 380fps....

Really nice looking rifle. Is it a game-rifle or a target practice-rifle? And as i said on the TM L96 video, you're still slamming the trigger. Try a more soft motion and think about your breathing. I know it's still only 35 meters, but that little twitch in the end can make the BB bounce diffrently in the barrel time to time.

Tip: the PDI trigger was a screw that you could tighten to get som more resistance to the triggerpull. Experiment that until you get a good triggerpull.

@Sench00 it looks like i'm jerking the trigger but i don't, it's because when the sear releases the piston there is no more pressure and i instantly pull the trigger all the way to the back, which looks like a jerk, however by that time the bb has allready left the barrel. this rifle is being used in skirms, but i'll have to trim the spring so it doesn't go over 500fps on .2gr's. in game i'm much more patient in between shots, i wait to take the shot until my breath cycle is at respitory pause..
