San Diego is the best city, top city in North America currently in my books. Been there recently and its amazing. Stayed there in downtown, saw seaworld,coranodo,trolley tour,went downtown shopping, very beautiful scenery and spanish buildings, tough on immigration and crime.

HI, I'm Mexican and i've been living here for 5 months now i'm going back to my country in 4 weeks, I think Vancouver is a beautiful city,with order, clean and safe in general, altough the weather here is not the best at least you are a rain lover, the city is a lil bit expensive, there are lots of different cultures everywhere but asian people are majority, people are nice and educated (most of them), but are not really friendly and they barely talk to you, it was a good experience in general

I hate how some people say Vancouver is dull and they rather live in New York. Do you really want to live in an over populated city? With higher crime, worse health and education. If that is your definition of not dull then please live in New York. People think Vancouver is some small hick town where only white people live there. Vancouver has everything any major city offers. There are some racist scum that live in suburban/rural areas surrounding the city, but they are discouraged from entering Vancouver proper.They are frustrated, inbred, unemployed White Trash caravan dwellers. And it's not boring, not compared to Toronto. For a city of its size, Toronto is anything but exciting. It ain't no Chicago and it ain't no Vancouver. The Lake Ontario urban area pales in comparrison when it comes to the beauty of Vancouver.

I noticed that Vancouver has a very large percentage of Asians than anywhere else in Canada. In fact larger than down here in Sydney, Australia where I live.
But I also noticed there isn't much racism against them (or at least I don't hear and sure hope not)

HI, I'm Mexican and i've been living here for 5 months now i'm going back to my country in 4 weeks, I think Vancouver is a beautiful city,with order, clean and safe in general, altough the weather here is not the best at least you are a rain lover, the city is a lil bit expensive, there are lots of different cultures everywhere but asian people are majority, people are nice and educated (most of them), but are not really friendly and they barely talk to you, it was a good experience in general

I still love Vancouver the riots occoured but it is still a great city Volunteering for the Olympics and the 2004 Molson Indy and also at a number of other events and living here all my live I can tell you that this is a great city and the riots should not be taken as a image of what we are really like.

Keep telling yourself that if it will make you feel better, but the majority of people downtown after Game 7, who were either actively rioting and looting, or "bystanders" there for the excitement, were very much a part of the city. I disagree. I was raised in the city proper and have always found it diverse and liberal.There is a lot of White Caravan Trash that surrounds the city, however, that gives some outsiders the wrong message about our beautiful city. I'm referring of course to the suburban/rural asswipes that terrorized downtown over a fucking hockey game. There were white supremists among the scum, but again, all from the sticks.

I live in the U.S Pacific NW and I love Vancouver BC. I have to say to most people - if you can't handle the rain then I would avoid living on the West Coast all together from Eugene Oregon on up. Regarding race. That is an interesting topic. If you go to S. Calif people complain about the Mexicans.
Frankly, I think Portland, Seattle and Vancouver are pretty multicultural and have larger Asian population. In my opinion European Americans (whites) and Asians are more cohabitant. Anyone from the
