Im leaning towards STI cus of the quality and i know its a tiny bit slower but i dont care i want quality over quantity..

@Sandeep9201 if you want reliability go Toyota corolla. any performance car is gonna have its issues no matter what anyone says. sti or evo. they both will have thier issues no matter what. a few of my friends had stis they had major shit go wrong with their trannys. my tranny never shit on me yet. but who knows it might. my clutch took a dump but im sure launching it with a modified car didnt help it was way past its torque limit i knew i had to upgrade my clutch eventually so i wasnt pissed

@Sandeep9201 STI - best bang for the buck. It's cheaper and you can mod it for the remaining cash you would of used buying the evo to get it faster than the evo. You're looking for reliability so i'm guessing you're looking for a commuter sport sedan since you're contemplating on these two cars. If you want a car to drive around in but feel fast at the same time get the STI. If you want a car to ride around town in but also want to hit the track often get the evo.

@Sandeep9201 But honestly the left over cash from buying the STI that you would of spent buying the evo you can use to modify the STI to the point where it'll smoke any stock evo on the road. It's just a question of personal preference, are you a mistubishi guy or a subaru guy? I mean i'm not biased toward any of these car I love them both. But if you were to ask me which i would buy i'd get the STI. Unless i'm after the looks of the evo of course. Which is the only reason you would buy an evo.

@snorerape LMFAO. i guess you have never have driven a manual car with a bad clutch . when you try to open the throttle up the clutch isnt able to hold the load its given causing it to slip so i wouldn't spool up. plus it was compressor surge anyways. but im sure you know everything . take care

@SSGPETTY210 is absolutely right. Your BOV is Surging. Nothing to do with your clutches. Synchronic BOVs will let ur turbo go smoother and sound nicer. Your BOV is the problem, not the clutch :)

Glad to hear the issue was fixed. But again the clutch has no effect on the sound of the car. If it is slipping, there will just be RPM build up. There will be no significance in sound in spool or release.

@SSGPETTY210 how does it not effect how it sounds. if your clutch slips (not letting you build the full 25 psi.) its sounds like a little bitch ass swoosh . thats all it sounded like when i had my shit clutch put a new one in and im makes a mroe agressive sound. even with the correction of the bov. how can you say that it doesnt? ik when my car sounds different and ik when spool sounds different. thanks for ur concern

You do know that a clutch has nothing to do with the way a BOV sounds. Not to mention what you are experiencing is bad. You turbo is surging guy. Are you still recirculating, or VTA. If you are not VTA I suggest you go back to it for the longevity of your turbo.

@SSGPETTY210 was fixed the day after i installed it. the bov was on wrong. but ill leave the vid up since it still gets traffic. and ur clutch does effect the way ur car sounds. if you can build ur full 25 pounds of boost w.o slipping it sounds weak. but i guess i know nothing. thanks for watching

recirculating isn't the issue. My greddy can be adjusted recirculating or VTA, but my bad I just seen you are running the Stock BOV.. It might be a boost leak some where. Mine never flutter when I even had my stock one, it was more of a swooshing sound. You might want to look up other BOV and get and Idea and maybe upgrade your BOV. If you need help trouble shooting I would post a forum on Evo x forums
