Please can someone from back then explain how to get your hair to stand straight up but still look 'fluffy' like the bass player bass player??

Mine only seems to end up like the singers, more rounded and quiff like rather than a huge crazy psycho quiff which stands on end. Does bleaching the hair help, because it damages the hair and makes it more "straw like"

At the moment I just use a hairdryer, brush and a ton of hairspray.

Same goes for the singer out of Demented Are Go.

@Twangabilly ask some punks or deathrock gothchics how they get their mohawks that high up, seems like the same thing, except in psychobilly it's not that thin.

My guess at it is: use bee's wax at the base of hair, lots of hairspray, i'd not use a comb at the top as that will prolly make it curl over to make it look like the singer.

@aeolthelwen I use Murray's pomade or Dax pomade and then I use hairspray and a shine serum or another type of pomade that is high shine on the front/outside so its nice and shiny.
