Viewing this ON an iPhone 4 and I must say that it looked pretty incredible on my screen. Reading some of the comments that say it looks like a cell phone video... Well I must not be adjusted to modern tech because compared to PLENTY of cell phones this quality is great. Also those were some beautiful angles and shots ;)

excellent storyline. Don't think this this makes good vids. It doesn't. It's a phone. You can't use movement like a real vid camera with the iphone, as it goes outta focus and has a glassy look about it and it's hard on the eyes. You can't pan with these things

This is very inspirational. I have learnt a lot from this video. I really like how you zoomed and final shot angled at the far end to include both of them walked away.

Can you tell me how did you planned on eg. the scene:"let me tell you a story?" did you have how you want the camera shot to be like in your mind, did you draw it out, write it out or just do it on the spot? Sorry if this sound dumb

@whygodrums10 - Why do you say? There is nothing special in the editing here, it is just cuts from one scene to another. The real work was in taking the shots with all the fancy camera movement.

@whygodrums10 Perhaps you are reacting to the careful dolly & crane work and super-smooth sliding pan shots? The overall quality of the video appears to be the effort of experienced filmmakers who possess the necessary equipment to capture professional, smooth footage. iMovie for iPhone will let you add the simple x-fade transitions between clips, as shown above. ["Not faked" IMO.]

Its stunning to think this was entirely created on a phone.But its also a very competent piece of film making in its own right regardless of the medium used which of course reflects very well on the iphone

It's remarkable that this was done with iPhone 4's and putting them on the model trains was clever, but what really makes this work is that you actually have a story. An implied one, too, that uses the viewer's own imagination and conjured up emotions. It's really endearing.

Anyway, everything about this is really nice. The location work, the directing, the camera work, the acting, the editing, the musical score (!)...everything.

Very, very good. The only criticism I can make is the line said by the grandpa at the end ''Let me tell you a story''.. it's said in such a way that makes it rather cringe worthy. Shame the voice over actor couldn't do a better job - but it's rare to find someone who can, I suppose.
