Bruce is a better singer that Blaze, but Blaze is a much better singer than most other metal vocalists. IMO he's not bad at all, he's not Bruce, but he's not bad

stfu domentortheonlytrue.bought my first maiden album when it was first released.blaze could not lead maiden.applause for trying but he was terrible.when he said that he knew every crash ect.look and listen to a number of the vids with him singing and forgeting the words.i know every word,solo intro to every maiden song,so he was talking shit.same as my voice shit, but at least i know the bloody words.seen maiden 7 times including with paul and were best live band live.he destoyed maiden live.

I don't care whatever anyone says. Blaze Bayley's voice on X Factor and Virtual XI are brilliant. They have some of the deepest emotions on them. Just listen to Sign of the Cross or Blood On the Worlds Hands. Epic songs. Even songs on V X1 are just so creative, and Blaze's voice is just stellar. It sucks that people hated him, because he did so much good work for Maiden.

Saw them in 96 at this tiny little club 10 minutes from where I live. It was crazy after seeing them at MSG once and The Meadowlands twice then to see them at this little(PACKED) club with ANTHRAX. They lost the crowd pretty quickly though,no one was interested in hearing the new stuff and by the end of the show half the club had emptied. It was very sad. I felt bad for Blaze because he is a good singer.

I remember '96 well, as I was in a metal band at the time, it was a bad time for everybody for metal in Britain, it was the height of Brit pop and Oasis, there was nowhere to play. blaze is a great singer, sign of the cross is awesome,....but the album was very tacky, paul d'anno was cool but bruce and bruce only is the sound of maiden to me, altho blaze has sign of the cross without a doubt

i think x factor is great, u can't compare it to classic maiden of course, that wins hands down. but this album had a dark feel to it i really like, very different. it takes a few listens at first, but i was in a really dark place in my life and it resonated with me at that time.

I love the way he sings both Paul and Bruces songs just matters weather he had alergies or not is what made the difference when he had allergic reactions it caused him problems singing even on his own songs but when he didnt have allergys he sounded awesome on all maiden era songs.

The way he describes 'The X Factor' is excactly how I felt about it.

It takes many listens through the album to really get into the mood, and then you realize how deep and dark the album really is.

I think that X Factor is a great albun and this guy is one of the greatest singers of this generation. Unfortunetly he had to replace Bruce and the fans at the time didn't take so well. Maybe one day he will have recogition.

I had some Maiden before X Factor, but at that time in my life, I didn't like high-pitched vocals from Bruce (I loved Alexander the Great, though). I picked up X Factor because the artwork looked cool, and I was impressed. I loved it, and became a huge fan of the band after that. Since Bruce returned, their albums have been getting better and better, and his vocals are better now too. Saw them live too.

By the way, Blaze's latest album is AWESOME. Better than his Maiden days. Check it out.

I think X Factor is Maiden's best album. Blaze also has really good solo material, his recent album Promise and Terror (2010) is better than Final Frontier.
