Well like most thing in US politics, the president can only recommend something. If NASA is killed, it will be because the sufficient majorities of the House and Senate agreed and signed the laws that would kill NASA.
@puckerfactor1 America's best and brightest have spent the last 10 years battening down the hatches, afraid of terrorism, while the rest of the world gets free super speed internet and high speed rail. Meanwhile, IBM stops making stuff and just consults to the rest of the world on what Americans likes to buy. That's not liberals fucking shit up. That's greedy republicans cashing in on fear.
@rgbfoundry how are they "cashing in? nobody is trying to kill americans not at all. we shouldn't sit in a dark room crying waiting for the bad guys but we shouldn't drop are guard either. this country is in the worst shape it has been in sence the great deppresion it cant just be republicans "cashing in" they have been doing that forever anyways this is something new and you should be afraid cuz i bet you dont have any weapons to defend yourself with if shit goes south. the popo aint ganna show
@me2260542 I've got plenty of firearms to defend myself, but thanks for the concern. Go listen to Sean Hannity pitch gold to his listeners and you'll see an example of cashing in on fear. Aside from acknowledging that republicans have been cashing in on fear for years, I don't know what you're trying to say. I agree that this country is in really bad shape.
@rgbfoundry well its good that your political sensibilities haven't hinderd your real world common sence. and what i was getting at was that liberals arent doing any better the conservative and they dish out plenty of fear themselves.
@me2260542 America's bipartisan political solutions to every problem is "I'll let you spend this if you let me spend that." Anybody that wants to make the hard decisions that will help pull this country out of a nose dive will get voted out of office after one term. Worse, their replacements will get elected on the promise to repeal the previous elected officials successes. Keep in mind that Obama was elected on his promise to reform the health care system. It's what Congress wrote that sucked.
@rgbfoundry The real problem is corruption of the American political system. Neither side, Republican nor Democrat, is working like it was originally intended to: in the best interest of the American people. Every Congressman and elected official in this country is so hopelessly driven by money that nothing else matters to them, including defending your freedom. To restore the system that was outlined and practiced by our Founding Fathers, the outrageous salaries of politicians has to end.
@rgbfoundry Raun Paul in a perfect example of that sort of phenomena; the media blatantly ignores him and perpetually covers up any attention the people themselves give him. Certain corporations have stopped competing in the field of scientific advancement and are now competing in commercial products. Capitalism and competition amongst researchers has lead to NASA not being the failure of the Soviet space program; 99% of our rockets work.
@rgbfoundry It's in bad shape because of the ongoing failure of leadership (both parties) in respect to beating the crap out of it's existing social programs such as Medicaid and Social Security. The US can't even keep a practical monopoly such as the Post Office in operation--how in the hell do you think it can run something as vast and complex as public healthcare? This is a foul up of Democrats because they've been trying for years to socialize medicine and they finally one--a ticket to HELL
@puckerfactor1 Actually we have been milking the accomplishments of stolen german tech from WW2 and now that those inventores we "repatriated" to the states are gone, we are burning out.
It's all been built off of other's ideas. Now "technology", makes 4 hour erections and 4g texting , internet porn BS ect ect. You know the more important things, rather than learning the truths of our exsistance.
@puckerfactor1 you got that right: liberals would rather send astronauts on one way missions to Mars (they're preparing for it as we speak) and not think of the obvious, best next step: colonizing the moon and using it as a platform to explore our solar system. Liberals are extremely ass-backwards and STOOOOOOOPID.
I have a question, how does a nation/people/goverment achieve these awesome strides in tech.America seems to lead the world in this area, and also lifestyle/standard of living, but why????? Yea,its a loaded guestion! The vid and music is great by the way.
@puckerfactor1 We've achieved such great strides by going into major debt. We're like the neighbor with the really big screen TV that went on the credit card. "Check that out! That's amazing!"
As for standard of living, we got it the same way. Just on an individual basis. It's becoming clearer and clearer that since WWII, America and US corporations has made a lot of promises to citizens and employees it can't keep. Pensions, Social Security. All failing as we realize the world CAN do our work.
@rgbfoundry I was hopeing for you or someone to mention the free market/capitalism. So what system of gov. can you name based on history, that produces this kind of strides in tech. Economic policy is another argument altogether.
@rgbfoundry NASA accounts for less than one percent of the federal budget, so anyone complaining about how much money we waste on these projects should just shut the fuck up
@Unclesamslair Agreed. I guess the progressives think it would be better to not acheive these great strides as they enjoy all that this tech. has given them. Hypocrites at the very least,COMMIE ASSHOLES AT THE WORST!
@rgbfoundry I agree with this sentiment but I would not blame republicans, that is not fair. All politicians breed fear of one kind or another. Democrats breed fear of job loss if we don't pass a stimulus bill, they say their health care refirm will save us all, it is all crap! They say what they think peeople want to hear and then fill the bills with pork to make their special interests happy.
@puckerfactor1 Are you talking about NASA specifically? Because NASA's funding is currently less than $20 billion a year. Compare that to the 700 billion bailout...
This is such an awesome video and you've done such a great job of editing and selecting music. This is an anthem for reflecting on ones following and fulfilling of a purpose, consequences be damned. I love it!
I have a poster of the rover model from this video. I have it hanging over my kid's bed. He is my rover into the unexplored universe beyond the reach of my longevity.
@coreyfro Great sentiment! I know just how you feel. If you're not already, get SCUBA certified and start diving. James Cameron would agree that it's as close as you'll get to exploring other worlds in our lifetime.

The Martian atmosphere and gravity make living there a possibility. Humanity will likely never find another planet that equals earth in terms of livability. Mars is the closest thing we can actually get to, even if we can't terraform it. The real reason to go to Mars is to look for evidence of life. If you want to talk about wasting money, start spending something on findind ways to cover 350,000 light years in a single lifetime. THERE'S your waste of money.
if my recent research is correct we are wasting time and money with mars, even if we do get to send man there some day its totally unihabital.the temperatures and poisons in the air mean we couldnt survive, nor could any of our natural plantlife.the good news is we a possibly inhabital planet similar to earth but much larger has been discovered.only problem is with our fastest current space craft it would take about 350000 years to get there.were gonna have to get a lot faster ,
Look at this cool technology, someday americans with the help and generocity of more advanced countries will in a small way contribute to these scientific advances.

@MissyMicole23 Don't count out the rest of the world yet, Missy. The European Space Agency has a rover in the works, China has a moon rover, and a lot of other countries have space programs. America isn't what she used to be around the world. We'll be playing catch-up as soon as you can't afford to buy crap from the Dollar Store.
@nerdman241 Prehaps we would be if the bankers hadn't screwed the entire planet. Now it appears that the US manned space programme may not exist at all within months.
Color me impressed. Most videos like this are tiresome, but I don't know how you tweeked it but the little 'coincidences' that pop up between the lyrics and the video are very well done and paced. Nothing like a good ole phallic symbol for a TR song. :)
every time I see this I am amazed, not at the video, but that with all the level of complexity, variables, and everything else, it actually worked and actually happened.
Two whistleblowers, both formerly involved in secret research and development projects undertaken by US defense agencies, have independently verified their secret teleportation to US bases on Mars, and to meeting intelligent Martian extraterrestrial life.
Is it really that confusing? I mean does anyone really give a crap about those they don't know? We live in a world where our personal lives coalesce to form the group identity; one of borders and indifference. Because if we all looked at the whole world and all of its peoples as a part of ourselves, instead of just choosing parts of it to form our identity, we would alienate ourselves to a very small grouping of similarly enlightened people.
Okay so I say instead of feeding the starving children we send a few more of these things to mars. I mean we need samples and data, not living loving creatures.
Ok, so say we feed all those starving brats so they grow into healthy adults, who have then have no jobs, nothing to do all day but reproduce with each other. They then pump out more and more hungry babies.
Now we have double the hungry people.
They tried to help them long ago. Its a lost cause.
sorry lady...
There is water on mars and a atmosphere. Lets go!
Does any one know if that mars property for sale is real?
Life is not defined by having a job or by being "productive", although you born in 1995 might not understand things such as this yet. What good is going to mars?
another story: in my area they built a roundabout for 10 mio. €. Nobody did need it, even though it s harder to drive through the city now. So i ask myself we investigate 10 mio. € for nothing usefull and let peeps starve away. Humans just cannot reign
the sad part is - real science like this, with thousands of people working years on it gets .6m views while "Spooky photo Proves life on mars" - or otherwise known as "a picture of a rock" gets 18million views.
@sparf314 but dont forget the people who still care about this are out there, playing with things and figuring things out on thier own! give it some time, dont give up on people just yet :)
Oh ok well when i was on Mars i happened to find alien life that existed in martian caves. I'm not kiddng there is actually seven caves on Mars look it up.
The caves are names after the seven sisters who discovered the seven caves.
This song is a great match to the video. I'm so proud that we sent two rovers up to Mars just like the animation shows. One of these days we'll get up there too.
I think there was a little work involved on my part. It wasn't exactly Dorthy on the Dark Side, if you know what I mean. Plus the extra sound effects.
not sure they dont really talk bout mars any more. well we need to see if life can exist there or inhabit there cause there 6 billion here on earth today an its going to double in 10 to 20 year.those little aliens need to do more abducting lol.
NASA wont give a straight answer, we have rocks & meteorite fragments, geological signs etc which indicate yes but until a manned mission picks up a dino bone or gets their heads kicked by a bunch of Necrons with Gaus guns its all still speculation mate.
Operation (i'm gonna blow myself up) is in progress. THANK YOU NASA for making it simple.

@monkeyjoe9 Good maybe with Russia/China/Europe in space we'll actually gets some true answers about space instead of the BS NASA gives the world.

This is clearly the best video on youtube.
CaptainMorgan32 1 year ago 4
@MissyMicole23 Don't count out the rest of the world yet, Missy. The European Space Agency has a rover in the works, China has a moon rover, and a lot of other countries have space programs. America isn't what she used to be around the world. We'll be playing catch-up as soon as you can't afford to buy crap from the Dollar Store.

@rgbfoundry Don't forget Nixon opened China. "libtard commie puke"? You've been watching too much Glen Beck.

Two whistleblowers, both formerly involved in secret research and development projects undertaken by US defense agencies, have independently verified their secret teleportation to US bases on Mars, and to meeting intelligent Martian extraterrestrial life.

It is really neat to see such intricate pieces of engineering work. They are to science what Mona Lisa is to Leonardo Davinci.

Beautiful animation, with grate camera matching.
Just this song have nothing to do with Mars, space or new beginning. Its about
heroin, drug addiction and looking back at your fucked up life and wonder what the hell has happened.
revediting 1 year ago
Is it really that confusing? I mean does anyone really give a crap about those they don't know? We live in a world where our personal lives coalesce to form the group identity; one of borders and indifference. Because if we all looked at the whole world and all of its peoples as a part of ourselves, instead of just choosing parts of it to form our identity, we would alienate ourselves to a very small grouping of similarly enlightened people.
thehushman 1 year ago
That depends on if you plan to opress the rest?
faceyssecret 1 year ago
Actually 7 days later your statement came to me in my various thoughts, and I do see some truth that you hint at.
faceyssecret 1 year ago
Okay so I say instead of feeding the starving children we send a few more of these things to mars. I mean we need samples and data, not living loving creatures.
faceyssecret 1 year ago
Ok, so say we feed all those starving brats so they grow into healthy adults, who have then have no jobs, nothing to do all day but reproduce with each other. They then pump out more and more hungry babies.
Now we have double the hungry people.
They tried to help them long ago. Its a lost cause.
sorry lady...
There is water on mars and a atmosphere. Lets go!
Does any one know if that mars property for sale is real?
virtualboy1995 1 year ago 3
Life is not defined by having a job or by being "productive", although you born in 1995 might not understand things such as this yet. What good is going to mars?
faceyssecret 1 year ago
fyi Im 29, and yes what you do, does define your life.
What good is mars? Let count thy ways
-We conquered another plant, pretty big deal if you ask me.
-New exotic metals we can refine
- A second chance planet, when the sun gets too hot for us on earth.
-Learn from our past, no pollution there.
-There is water, so there must be life of some kind.
-Unknown history that can be discovered.
Going to Mars is the greatest thing to ever happen in our time.
virtualboy1995 1 year ago
he s right...
another story: in my area they built a roundabout for 10 mio. €. Nobody did need it, even though it s harder to drive through the city now. So i ask myself we investigate 10 mio. € for nothing usefull and let peeps starve away. Humans just cannot reign

the sad part is - real science like this, with thousands of people working years on it gets .6m views while "Spooky photo Proves life on mars" - or otherwise known as "a picture of a rock" gets 18million views.

jpsmart59 1 year ago
Oh ok well when i was on Mars i happened to find alien life that existed in martian caves. I'm not kiddng there is actually seven caves on Mars look it up.
The caves are names after the seven sisters who discovered the seven caves.

You mean in your dreams you discovered alien life on Mars. What did they look like? I want to see if you know because I might know.

This song is a great match to the video. I'm so proud that we sent two rovers up to Mars just like the animation shows. One of these days we'll get up there too.

NASA wont give a straight answer, we have rocks & meteorite fragments, geological signs etc which indicate yes but until a manned mission picks up a dino bone or gets their heads kicked by a bunch of Necrons with Gaus guns its all still speculation mate.
