@nicoleakalilqueenie Stop being a dumbass and do the logical thing? Turn your sound up. Even if you have to turn it up real high, at least you'll be able to hear it.
i actually stayed in this hotel in 09, didn't see nor hear a ghost one, not in room 17 which you cant stay in anymore, 18 or the poker room. The COOLEST thing about the hotel is that when the employees leave they lock the doors behind them and the guests are alone, no way in or out so that was kinda creepy. And when me and my family were there we were the only 5 people in the hotel so i roamed the halls all night (and in my underwear at that lol) hoping to find/see/hear a ghost but nothing.
there are bullet holes all over the hotel, especially in the dining room, and the old ledger was cool as was the history of the hotel itself. I am one of those...i dont believe in ghost/nor do i say they exist i have just never seen one so so maybe there are maybe not and i went there hoping but left just like i came..maybe so maybe no...the being locked in alone thing was great. I live near the Stanley (hotel that inspired Steven King to write the shining) thats next on my list. Peace
It takes a lot these days to scare me as far as paranormal shows but the part where that so called "little boy" at the bar give me chills n I get the weirdest feeling of fear like he was not human. That place needs a serious cleansing with sage and prayer.
i m 27, i remember watching this episode as a 5 year old. most distinct r the part when they show the lamp being turned on in the hallway after the ladies left (used to scare the shit out of me) and the part when the goblin was found in the bar (had nightmare about that one)
According to the near-death experience I had, it has nothing to do w/ a spirit lingering beyond death.
During a violent death, which I was having after being shot by a robber, the soul splits into all these separate "energies."
I don't believe I was dreaming this while in the middle of a trauma so severe I'd gone into VF. In VF the patient is clinically dead, you're not going to be doing something as mundane as dreaming in that state.
The energies stay behind. The main body of the soul moves on.
owner, and he wasn't around. They never found out how the door opened, but they have their theories. The room is kept off limits because of a supposed angry ghost. She had experienced other things there, but she said that by far that was the spookiest.
The girl at the front desk shared this with me. It happened to her. She had been working there for several months, and had adjusted to the place being haunted. They lock up every night at 10:00 PM. She was opening up things up one morning, and as part of procedure she was doing the morning walk through. She went up to the second floor, and the door to room 18 was standing open about 8 inches. The room they kept lock was open. The only key to the room was in the possession of the...
There were a couple of times where I felt some unease or a chill, but I didn't visually see anything. I do believe the place is haunted though. It's not like I arrived with the proper equipment to do a mass investigation...I was only there for a couple of days. The rooms I was in were on the ground floor. I tried to get an upstairs room by room 18 (the one they keep locked, and don't let anyone sleep in), but there was a rodeo in town. Place was full. I'll share a story...
I saw this segment when it first aired on Unsolved Mysteries and I kind of filed the Hotel away in my 'places I want to visit' file. I eventually did, and it's a really interesting place. Stayed in the Bat Masterson suite. Talked to several of the people who work there and they had some fascinating stories..experiences that they had. Whether someone believes in the existence of ghosts/spirits or not, it's a fascinating place for it's history alone.
umm.. lol.. if you keep going outside and the chandelier is still back on.. wouldnt you first expect SOMEONE else in the hotel.. that would be my first guess not a ghost..
Is it weird that Tourettes Guy brought me back to Unsolved Mysteries I forgot it for so long then I saw Tourettes Guy imitate this and got drawn back O.o
Original 90's intro, original Host-R.I.P Robert "Bob" Stack!
Miss your voice, he scared the daylights out of young people all over the world in the early to mid, late 1990's! not to mention good 1945-50-70s films he stared in.
What was wrong with the boy's face? He didnt look scary. Its the part at 5: 26 where the guy says he saw a boy in the bar spinning a glass and when he turned around his face was hidious.
@princessUSA2 I remember this episode from when it first came on. You can't see it that clearly in this upload, but I recall his face being slightly deformed. Scared the hell out of me at the time.
@SlinkyWyrm I know what you mean. I think this is a pretty popular haunted spot, and I saw some other videos from different shows about this particular hotel. Hope that helps!
Can you buy seasons of this?
