all the baby powder does is show that someone has "pushed" your car, but the powder actually sticks to old oils from your hands from touching your car, when the loose powder falls off it only leaves the powder that stuck to the oils on the car, revealing the "mystery hand prints"... dont wanna ruin ur experience but if you wanna good place to go, go to sallys bidge in Concord...

gravity hill is horse shit, its an optical illusion ur actually going down a slight hill going DOWN not up... i used to live in the area and always went at night because of the stories, lets face it,we all do/did. However going during the day youll see, it says "start here" once you see that youll see that you are actually going down hill... the hand prints on the bumber are simply from the movment from the car/truck... still kinda creepy tho. i mean its out in the middle of nowhere...

I have been told by my best firend that you pour baby powder all over the out side of your car the front and the back of your car and when you get to the end of the hill you will see hand prints over the whole car small handprints

I was the driver and had not been drinking. My buddy told another cop he had a couple of beers before he left the house. We had no open containers, but the cop kept questioning me, because my eyes kept dilating and I was on antibiotics for a sinus infection and he didn't believe I was not on anything. But we were free to go. I told the cop to Google Gravity Hill because it's an interesting phenomena. I'm surprised the local cop hadn't heard of it before.

Me and a couple of buddies of mine went to this spot last weekend. And after we got done on the way back to Salisbury the dude passed out in the back seat of the car and we had to pull over in a gas station to call Paramedics. He was okay, just had a reaction to some medicine. The cops showed up and smelled beer in our car. I was the driver and said we were coming back from gravity hill and my buddy had passed out. The Salisbury police asked if Gravity Hill was a place where stoners go.

We were gonna try this during drivers ed today... but some person in a jeep decided that they wanted to pass us after the hill. So we tried it with the second person but it didn't work because we weren't facing the right direction.

I know where you where i live in NC and have been to both gravity Hill and point. Ok so where you turned around at is at the bottom of the "second" hill. Turn around go back over that hill then the other and turn back around and stop puting you car in N. A woman ran off the road there and her and her kids were kill in the accdent. Now she will push cars up the hill. Thats the story. I have tried it and i know it works.

ive been there before. if you put baby powder on the top of the car you will see hand prints on the top after you go there. the last time i went there, my dad,his girlfriend, her youngest daughter,and me. and after we went there we went down third creek church road and ther was a house like the one in the texas chainsaw massicre

it's near a dock restaurant thing...i forget what it's called...Mariner's Warf or something...but it's about 25-30 minutes from salisbury

The Gravity Hill in NC is really creepy, with the graffiti all over the road. We dusted my cousins Civic in flour, and saw handprints after we got off at the little store at the end of the road, just outside that curve we rolled to

i'm from salisbury and know this place real well....if your on bringle ferry rd. and take a right on richfield rd. go only about a quarter to a half a mile and at the bottom of the first steep hill stop and start where the graffiti starts, put it in neutral and it will roll you about a quarter of a mile up to the curve of the road....have fun

yeah, it works best if you start where the graffiti looks like a giant paint can spilled and sprayed all over the road...i tried doing it near the drawn lines and arrows toward the far end of the road, but it doesn't work over there... if you start near the beginning of the graffiti, it works great! being on the opposite side of the road helps too, cause it's slightly tilted...
