  • there's a lot of people like me, that avoid sugars and carb because of diabetes, my body can't take that much sugar, and to avoid injecting insuline to myself 5 time a day, i dont drink or eat nothing from a can, all natural but there some stuff that still to high in natural sugars, so this is not a drink for every day because the orange juice....

  • carbs = combustion. I need carbs in winter especially. Complex carbs in reasonable amounts give energy.

  • I really can't understand people... why would someone think that carbohydrates in a fruit is too much! We NEED carbs to survive!!! And a fruit,no matter how much carb it has,will still have a better kind of carb than any industrialized product. Our body can absorb and methabolize them much easier than any low carb industry products,and with the advantage of having no conservants,flavorants,acidula­nts and all the other stuff that rather intixicate our body.

  • @Rachwitch Too many people think they should avoid carbs & sugars. We need them to survive. Staying away from an industrialised type of carb or sugar which ends up being the same thing anyway is better. I agree with everything you said. Thanks for your comment. A lot of people just aren't educated.

  • @TheYlro Yes i do. This is a low carb smoothie. Low carb isn't what you consider low carb. It's what industry standards consider low carb & this is below industry standards for a low carb smoothie.

  • @enisorian Yes you are confused. Bananas are low in Carbs. Most of the carbs are in the skin not the flesh. An average banana has about 17 grams of carbs in it. 1 cup of juice i used had 10 grams of carbs in it. The orange had 10 grams of carbs in it. The yougurt had 11 grams of carbs in it. This smoothie has a total of 48 carbs in it & the portion is for three people so if you think 16 carbs in a drink is not low i don't know what you've been told. This is a low carb smoothie.

    The natural sugar in the fruit is a carbohydrate, and there is actually quite a lot in a banana.

  • @InnuendoXP 17 grams of carbohydrates in a banana isn't much. That's how much is an an average banana.
