Nova Scottia isn't actually that hardcore since someone for example escaping monsters or in dark cave out of food or torches can type /spawn then get needed stuff and go back.

He could type /spawn and escape the zombies, but it's almost the same as disconnecting when zombies are killing you, except the fact that when you connect again you will still be in the same place, but in nova scottia, when you go back you will go to the spawn point and escape the zombies
