On national TV they air reality showa which are something like 4 hours long per episode since they usually end around 1 am and they are live so you can say fuck or whatever without being censored. Sometimes they also show nudity, and in some shows like "le iene" even full frontal nudity.

Still, I think parody is the best form of flattery...If a show has entered into the thought processes of the viewers, so much so that it's spoofed, then I think it's probably successful. Or at least the writers and actors will become a bit more self-conscious, and fix any weak points in the show. Season 2, in my opinion, is great.

I agree. At first,I found the bi/gay element of Torchwood pretty cool. Folk have been lobbying shows like Star Trek to have a gay hero or gay rel'ships for YEARS,so it's nice to see a UK show that's a grownup & can deal with it. Plus,Jack is hot kissing ANY1 ! But i mean,c'mon,nearly EVERY employee(Tosh,Gwen,Ianto,Jack) of TW has gay/ bi leanings? I usually know 1 or 2 openly gay/bi folks in a small workplace. For 3/4 of a group of 6 to be bi is just statistically unlikely.
