It's funny because he's not listed as one of the songwriters on this song. The lead guitarist(Jim Keller) and a dude named Alex Call wrote the song. Tommy Heath isn't listed as one of the songwriters anywhere. But since it was their only hit I am sure he likes to take credit for it.

I love this song, but this is just terrible. I don't know how anyone can say this was good! He doesn't even play the riff correctly, and the backup singer isn't singing the proper harmonies. It's too slow, weak, and lifeless. Just completely butchered! Sorry to offend anyone, but I think he needs to give it up. It's just sad to see this, although I'm sure he's a nice guy. The original recording is still and always will be a great song, however.
