I wonder how you distribute and select your 2d-textures into particle. Are there certain rules or function to determine which texture suitable for a particle. I try to implement your technique since it doesn't looks so expensive but surprisingly create realistic clouds.

can't get the gameplay though: do you drive the flock leader or the whole flock?
