omg I just had a bonghit and listened to this o_O I see things....I hear....all... I understand it all now...Captain Blood was not the alien.... all other are
I discovered this in 1985. I was in the USAF and in Denver Colorado at school. I was flipping channels on the radio and came across this very track. I was mesmerized and so I sought it out. Took it to Athens Greece with me and it was the soundtrack for my 2 years there. I hear it still in my day to day life...always with me
Factoid...in the late 80's Ray Liotta, Jeff Daniels and I think Melonie Griffith played in a movie called "Something Wild". Around the mid point of the movie they used a minute or so of this song. I thought it was lost unitl I found it on here, had no idea who it was. Guess I coulda read the credits. Ha!! Good times...thanks for uploading this, the live video is cool, but this is the real McCoy...
Merci d'exister M. Jarre.
This is the most haunting and gorgeous songs out there in my opinion. I heard it as a little girl when my brother played Captain Blood on his Atari and it has stuck with me ever since. (22 years and counting)

The most mindcatching track in Jarre`s Discography. The beginning is so quiet, save... dark. And then... wow, first time I heard it i had to cry.
Yeah, and I saw the movie within it "Something wild". The track can be heard mostly at the end of the movie, just one minute of the beginning part.
