  • Yeah it's the Russian version of the song translated. I like the original Latvian lyrics most, I grew up with such songs, but I don't mind other versions.

    original song is in Russian. singer - alla pugacheva. lyrics by andrey voznesenski, music by raimond pauls. song tells story about Georgian painter Niko PIrosmani. something like - he sold everything he had to buy million roses for the woman he was in love with. this is real story:)

    sorry, but u are not quite right. the song of Larisa Mondrus is "Davaja Mariņa meitenei mūžiņu". i mean the story is completely different. lyrics are completely different. not about roses and all that stuff. so if the song of infinity sound is called 'million roses' - it goes to alla puga4eva. song is not only a melody. right?
