  • one of the most under-rated movies and OST's ever..........this movie is just Epic!!

  • One of my fave films! ..thank heavens Zimmer did the score!

  • I'll be honest, I'm hear because I heard Nintendo was sued because this song sounded like a song on there Paper Mario commercial.

  • @64supermarioreturns jejejeje yo también

  • @64supermarioreturns :( I think it's only fair you watch the movie now to fully understand it's greatness :D

  • one of the greatest films ever made

  • If you like this, see where Hans Zimmer ripped this one off:

    Carl Orff - Gassenhauer

  • @rcmcomposer fuck off.

  • @rcmcomposer Hans fixed it.

  • @rcmcomposer I pee on the floor sometimes by accident...

  • i have a dancewank to this song.

  • おおお!i loved this movie! so much! even this music!

  • This is like, the cutest thing, ever.

  • One of the many reasons why I like QT's movies. He picks the perfect songs for the soundtracks for his movies including this one, Kill Bill, etc.

  • @skippyfish71 Tarantino does pick amazing songs for his movies, but he did not pick this one. I believe the soundtrack for True Romance was handled by Tony Scott (the Director).

  • @SilverTemplePIlot Ah, ok. thanks for that clarification. One of my all time favs.

  • @skippyfish71 actually tarentino wrote the story, but he did'nt shoot the movie!

  • Very nice.

  • Bolero.

  • 74 people looked at those breatseses

  • I mean the music, of course.

  • This is a modified and expanded version of Karl Orff's Gassenhauer.

  • My favorite film ever.

  • I think the top comment just shows u how this song puts people in a happy and generous mood :)

  • Hans Zimmer is so cool!

  • I love that music.

  • 00:12 look its Max Payne!!!

this movie is such a classic 90s flick, its comical, adventurous, and dramatic.. def one of the best things to come from Quentin in the 90s

  • Love this tune. thanks.

  • The Best Part Of This Movie Was The SHOOTOUT!!!!!

  • This is one of those songs you can listen to in a seriously fucked up situation, where everything seems as if it's heading completely off the rails, but adds a certain humour to it and makes you question why you should worry or care so much about something so trivial. And people look at you as you sit there not giving a shit thinking, "You're so cool".

  • 73 people should be kicked in their vagina!

  • @javornikproductions or have james gandolfini come to their motel room

  • @jordivdm so you know it by heart? :P

  • @morradiermann90 This is a fine reply, sir. I retract my previous accusation.

  • You know nothing of music. Take the word from your vocabulary and replace it with zoology.

  • I miss the days when you could smoke in a theater..oh, and the part where her boob 'bout fell out.

  • Completely wonderful movie, with honest and intense acting. And the music can only be described as unbelievable! Just recently got into True Romance.

I proposed to my second wife in similar ways, that was my big mistake. TR make me feel it still could happen and turn out good.

  • a masterpiece from Hans Zimmer : rainman, days of thunder, true romance, green card, regarding henry, thelma and louise, black rain

those was from the early day of his career started composing music score using synthesizer & electric sounds.

all those themes are so amazing.... a nice relieve for a day and thinking what tomorrow brings...

thanks Hans for your great music !!!

  • so real. so true, so beautiful,LOVE it...elna

  • This just makes me cry so fucking hard! Absolutely gorgeous

  • This music takes me to somewhere really Peaceful deep within me. Full of joy, full of positive energy, full of gratitude. Thank you Hans Zimmer!!!

  • What's the name of the instrument they use in the beginning ?

  • @filiwian this wa answered two comments below you. It's called a Marimba

  • I'm a call girl and there's a difference, you know!

  • "this video was republished without my permission...."

are you suggesting your permission is needed? i'm assuming you have the filmmaker's permission for the stills, and zimmer's permission for the song ;)

if i repost it right now, will you mention me in your description too, cos that'd be pretty awesome :) x

  • კაი ფილმია,და კარგი საუნდტრეკიც,ჰანს ზიმერს რატომღაც ცუდი საუნდტრეკი რომ ქონდეს .

  • "You're part, Eggplant"

    "Hahahahah"

    ".....You're a cantalope"

    "Hahahah......."

  • Forget Tarantino this is already PERFECT! Nothing could make it better. Besides Tarantino already gets more then enough credit for this movie, If anything Tony Scott should be getting the prise for making such a great classic!

  • @SandmanTheSurfer Tarantino should write another script for him to direct.

  • Imagine, if Tarantino directed this movie?! the film would be perfect!

  • @JoaoAesop isn't it already perfect ... ? muppet

  • The music reminds me JUNGLE!

  • great!!!

  • "coz you....your part eggplant"

  • just watched this today for the first time , blew me away!

  • This remembers me of a phone commercial, T-Mobile?

  • @CrazzyCowcat

Rabobank heeft deze muziek gebruikt in het 'kansen/potentie' reclame-campagne. Is dan wel geen telefoonmaatschappij, maar toch...

  • It's 1am, I have an exam at 9am and I haven't learned most of the quotations I need for it.

    This song kills stress.

  • who needs women

  • Dontb think ill ever understand women :(

  • so cool :-)

  • I know this music from a dutch commercial.

  • @oekelwm Nu moet je kijken op de film ... deze film heeft een enorme lijst van grote namen.Bloody awesome Film

  • J'aime beaucoup..............

  • I am amazed that Quentin Tarrantino directed a movie with "romance" in the title. True, it's chock full of guns drugs and hookers, but still. I mean, ROMANCE. From QUENTIN TARRANTINO.

  • @qwertyuiop298 Uh buddy this wasn't directed by Tarrantino it was written by him but not directed that my friend was by tony scott you'd know this if you were paying attention at the beginning of the video.

  • drunk and stoned = love it ....

  • i heard this song in the AMF commercial wherre its like keep the movies live it shows a bunch of clips from great movies of them watching movies hahaha

  • It's similar to the Carl Off version but not the same. But because they use the same instruments does not make them the same.

This is an amazing original song by Hans Zimmer.

  • I love this movie, I love the theme, I love Hans Zimmer

  • @DashROW this is one of my fav's to :), and i love the theme n hans also..........i put it on repeat lol...:)

  • @DashROW this is one of my fav's to :), and i love the theme n hans also..........i put it on repeat lol...:)

  • This song sounds like something out of a nature documentary, like maybe when all the babies are crawling out of the nest for the first time

  • True Romance is with out a doubt forever in my top 5 movies ever

  • 18 years had past, damn

  • @Zorulembo crazy how fast time goes by

  • Yeah AFI!

  • Fantastic piece of music, like all Hans Zimmers pieces. I remember not knowing who Hans Zimmer was and watching "Da Vinci Code" and making a point of finding out who made that music. Once discovered, the other films he has made music for, just seem to fit into place!

  • duimpjes omhoog als je deze kent van de rabobank reclame

  • emmm I was listening an Epica mix, suddenly I got this hans zimmer music :/

  • Such a sweet song.

  • 2:25 to the end. Nice idea by Zimmer.

  • One of the best. Gotta love the zimmertime

  • This is not from Hans Zimmer. The first 2:11 are "Gassenhauer" ("Street Song").

The composer Carl Orff (1895-1982), whose rendition is used in the film "Finding Forrester", gave its possible year of origin as 1536 (yes, 1536) by lutenist Hans Neusiedler.

  • @ThePerzolaga They are not the same the pattern between the two pieces are different similar but different substantially so

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO FUCKING MUCH! A RAW ROMANCE!!!!

  • Sounds a bit like Tire Swing from the movie Juno.

  • @flamedc00kie no no... Tire Swing from the movie Juno sounds a bit like this. This is from 1993.

  • The Only Bad Thing About This Movie Is That Time has not been kind to the film's two lead stars Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette, who have now been reduced to television actors, which is still good because you can still watch them on screen in new projects but they should still be in big budget movies in my opinion because their too good for Television

  • Well, looking the ratings, there's still a little hope for humanity (something difficult nowadays). Except for a few retarded who live in the past, the rest enjoy the universal language that knows no races: music.

  • Thumbs up if you want to give credit to Carl Off, from whome this song originally comes. Look for:

    Carl Off - Gassenhauer

  • @TacTiCOrc i have newfound respect. thank you for posting this.

  • @TacTiCOrc Would be even better to give credit to 16th century composer and lutenist Hans Neusiedler.

  • @TacTiCOrc Thanks for the information. Amazingly similar.

  • @TacTiCOrc ...exactly, nothing like C Orff!

  • @TacTiCOrc I'm gonna' check it out. That's the guy who composed Carmina Burana, right? I believe you; but I have to ask, can any version of this tune match the one that is inspired by Alabama (Patricia Arquette's character in True Romance)? I guess her character in the movie will forever define this tune and the notions of "true" and "romance" for me. But it's to your credit that you recognized the original theme and its composer.

  • This song sounds like it should be in a children's pirate movie or something.

  • hans zimmer, you are so cool!!!!!!!!

  • Now search for Badlands Soundtrack... sound familiar?

  • By FAR! The best flim ever!!!

  • @ross8461

Its one of my favorites. Sadly, I don't think many people have seen it since the name implies it might be something different than it is. Gary Oldman as Drexel, Dennis Hopper/Christopher Walken, the Gandolfini/Arquette fight makes me cringe every time, & even the normally annoying Rappaport was tolerable. Everyone I have recommended it to has loved it.

For the record, growing up in a middle class suburb of Detroit the Airport is in Romulus not Dearborn.

"Who the fuck is Dick?" :)

  • @Juggernaut76 entirely true, I sa
