I was there. About 8 to 10 people back stage left. Incredible concert. Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Willie, Waylon, John Kaye of Steppenwolf. Stevie was by far the best talent there. RIP, amigo.

Oh wow. I remember this, but I never thought I would see it again. Thanks for posting it. It makes me get a knot in my stomach seeing it again after all these years, knowing what happened to SRV. This was at Willie Nelson's first Farm Aid production in Manor (pronounced May-nor for those non-Texans out there.) Stevie was still playing Austin a lot in those days. I still listen to new music, but no one has come along that can compare. Wow.
