I remember I used to get made fun of in elementary school for liking Clay Aiken because everyone thought he was gay. Well he is, and I'm proud to say that his music still touches me. Every song tells a story, and vocally he's amazing. His voice touches your soul. He's one of the first artists that made me want to be a singer. I love clay.

clay aiken is my idol. when i was 3, my mom would play Measure of a Man constantly... soon i had every word memorized. Soon, i said, " mom, i want to be a singer, just like clay aiken!!!" my mom would say, "i believe you do, honey," thinking that it was just a phase. here i am now, still chasing the dream. i owe this all to clay aiken, my true idol, and the one i look up to most.
