Thanks! My GPS said 4.7mph. I hadn't tuned the prop running depth for max speed so I still need to get back on the water and do some more test runs.

Good job, I couldent read the speed off your GPS. Mine pushes my canoe about 5 mph with 2 people in it. Almost 7 mpg with just me.

It uses a small aluminum trolling motor prop.
