As much as the behaviour annoys me its good to see that there is still emotion in the game as it is becoming to institutionalised and about money where traditional cricket is loosing touch. and emotion has always been involved in cricket (I do wish Johnson was more intelligent though)

Maybe, and I'm just putting this out there, this is something that we see happen with every major international team? Plus, who really gives a shit? Just enjoy the cricket, if we make less of "controversies" like this one, maybe they will happen less? I mean, obviously, if players act up like this they should have their match-fee taken away or even banned depending. But why make it into a bigger issue than it really is?

Ok, will someone tell me how stuart broad got fined 50% of his match fee for throwing the ball at the batsman and breaking his finger out of frustration - meaning the batsman couldn't play in the next test - and Mitchell Johnston here was fined 60% for confronting the batsman. I'm not saying mitchell johnsons penalty was wrong, I'm just appalled at how stuart broad got away with what he did

Now normally I would be against Johnson here, but whatever Styris said was very offensive. You could see by the way Haddin reacted, Haddin normally is even worse than Johnson, tries to get himself into this sort of thing, but this time he literally ran at Johnson to stop him doing something stupid. What every Styris said would probably get his arse kicked on the streets, it was that bad.

I remember Michael Clarke deliberately run into Tendulkar and take him to the ground. It was very deliberate and i am surprised it was all brushed off like nothing happened. Tendulkar should have 'accidentally' swung the bat backwards and clobbed him on the head. Then he can say it was an accident as he was falling.

I'm saying this remembering how he and McCullum tend to have a laugh between themselves, but I guess some people from other countries might want to disagree with me here.....

Haddin isn't so bad, this is the only time i've seen Johnson being a dickwad. Watson can be far too up himself, but after the stern warning from Australian Cricket Board, he's toned it down. I'm also Australian, and i don't think this is part of the game, swearing because you got hit for 4 is ok in my opinion. But abusing the other guy because he hit you for 4 is stupid, bowl a better ball next time. Watson is a phenomenal cricketer with tones of skill. Shame he isn't a nice bloke.

Yeah i think Watson will tone it down. Ponting doesn't usually start these little onfield bursts, but once started he does add to them which isn't right... Never pour fuel onto the fire. Sullimen Benn is a bit of an idiot really, with Haddin and Johnson that one time, he was just being a complete dickhead (no offense). But honestly, you don't stand inbetween the 2 batsmen when they're havin a chat during over exchange, simple as that.

It's pretty simple with Johnson--he doesn't respect the sport or his opponents. He's the most miserable of all the miserable Oz c*nts, he makes Warne look like a gentleman.
