i know how to get rare items! All you have to do is jump your dog while your walking. after a while you should run into a present that wasn't on your plan! I have a million times. just make sure you watch for it cause they can be easy to pass. :)

at least u got to walk your dog i can`t cause i m breeding them and u got bad stuff but u can sell them and make money and it`s funny and part 2 u got better stuff and i can get like 3 gift boxes and 1 place sometimes 4 or 5 if i m lucky and u got like 6 and u were not lucky and like 3 places 2,and u could of walk that dog more u had almost half your walk box filled i hope this helps u see the bright side of it :D bye!

When you walk your dog, know that your neighborhood is split up into four sections (top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right.) There are two dogs in each section (8 total). One dog will be out on a walk in each section, and then they'll switch with the other dog. The times that they switch is 7 AM, 4 PM and 9 PM. I think... Don't really remember the times. The dogs in the park will also switch at these times. I've realized this after having the game for about 3 years.

@xxiiROCK - The personality of these dogs also depend on which section they live in. To see which dog has a friendly personality depends on the song playing in the background (it will be playing very quietly). If the quieter song sounds like the song that plays when the dogs get along, then that dog is friendly and will only take one sniff to be able to bond with. If the song sounds like the one that plays when they fight, that dog will be harder to bond with and will take 2 or 3 sniffs.

@xxiiROCK - To be able to actually have the dogs sniff each other, the other dog has to be laying down calmly. Then tug your dog towards it until they sniff each other. Repeat this until they get along. The personalities of these dogs will stay in whichever section they lived in. For example, the top left dog at the 7 AM - 4 (or 9. I forget) PM time zone will take 3 sniffs to bond. Even if you start a new game or buy a diff game, it'll take 3 sniffs for this dog, whatever its name or breed is.

Spot, the cream colored Shiba Inu will always be at the top right section and will remain there all day. He will always have a friendly personality, so he'll take 1 sniff to bond with. The only way to play with him at the park is if you walk your dog before 7 AM. I forget the personalities of the other dogs in the other sections, but if you pay attention to how many sniffs it takes and the song softly playing in the background, you'll figure it out. I just thought I'd let you guys know.

When you're on a walk and you don't know when a surprise present or garbage is coming up, all you need to do is look at the top screen. If the dog icon stopped, but your dog is still walking, that means something's coming up so be ready to tug on the leash. Never let your dog eat trash.
