反思... 香港的清潔工工資較發達國家低.但個人入息稅率亦遠低於其他國家­.而在定立最低工資後,假如清潔工工資得到大大提升,我們又是否­願意多付自住房屋的管理費? 不只是政府的責任,社會能否齊心解決貧富懸殊的問題.

老人生活應該有尊嚴,沒有上一代不可能成就現在的香港.贊成增加­生果金及醫療支助.但假如年輕時個人沒節制積蓄以至老來無依,關­懷是否比供養更重要?而生果金或綜援金額到底增加到什麼程度,才­能得到大多數人支持?

a revolution . A revolution that caused famine and probably had more negatives then benefits to the reputation of Chinese and its culture. The revolution had good intentions of ensuring equality in China , however, the process was painful and did not turn out terribly well. I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THIS IN HK !

At the end of the day, in the eyes of those old Communist in China, they will only see Beijing and Shanghai are their closest child. Many HK people whine about being poor and they sound very negative. The program seems to be saying "let's try to experience what poor people's lives are like" and with the tacit implication that society should give them alms.

I'm not saying that we don't need to have compassion, but I think the people making these programs are the kind of people who need alms themselves.

I have not watched TV for years, but every time I do I see whiny people crying. They should really snap out of it.

Being poor is bad. In HK it is very common for people to complain about being poor.

Being unattractive is equally bad, if not worse. So why is it that people don't talk about unattractiveness as a social problem?

I think most HK people could be much happier if they were better-looking. Many middle class folks will not get much happier with an modereate increase in wealth, their problem is that there is no fun in their lives because they look unattractive.

Even poor people would be happier if they look more attractive. Then we would be more motivated to improve their living/work conditions. It's just very boring to try to care about unattractive people, to watch TV programs about unattractive people
