What I miss the most in old fallouts is the rich characters like Sulik and The Overseer, and how you felt like you just stepped into something new. Create a big shiny world and it won't be the same if the feeling isn't there. You know what I'm talking about.

This music= The Den, a helluva' place to settle down. I go past the broken fence gates and look the people inside the town. Many look like traders, scavengers and travelers. I walk further into the city and see a large church on my right. There appears to be a slavers guild to my left, guarded by a couple of mean-looking guys wearing leather armors. I smell roasted iguana in the air, I heard the name 'Mom' who appears to be a great cook, have to find that her diner of hers...I'm starving.

I remember my first time playing Fallout 2 (have yet to play the first game) and arriving in The Den hearing this music, seeing all the people, buildings and discovering the new "kick ass" weapons that were available compared to those found in Klamath. Mind blowing! :)

The raider camp in Fallout 2 is slightly harder to clear out than in Fallout 1. In Fallout 1 all I did was(after I rescued Tandi)went in guns blazing with the hunting rifle and leather jacket with Ian at my side.

Raider camp in FO2? You must mean the mercs, who, yes, are much more difficult. Different music, tho.

If you mean the slavers in the Den, they're about the same difficulty. Bigger guns, but less in number.
