I wish I could tell what Brian is doing on guitar during all the blasty/noisy parts.The think where he's moving/twitching his hand all fast. It looks like the guitarists from Anal Cunt do a similar type of movement for all their noisy parts too, but I have no idea how to do this technique.

Ruben is really one hell of a guitar player but he didn't do anything new. He rehashed the same stuff that was already there. That's what every other Slam band doing. it's a circle, MM project imitating themselves over and over again, Devo clone bands imitating Devo over and over again. No matter how well they package their shitty records they will never ever be able to surpass the mighty creation of Brain Wynn.

Yes i know him personally. and stop calling it Devourment for fuck sake, it's the Mike Majewski project. Even Ruben's wife Lily calls it by this name. Chuck died and if the remaining members reform Death, it wouldn't be Death anymore. So is the case with Devourment; the man who was the founding member of the band and whose part in building this band was bigger then the rest isn't in the band anymore so it's simple not the same band but rather a different band.

yeah i used metal zones for a long time till i started using my line 6 toneport. its got that model on it, with the right tweaks its about a heavy as you can get for 100 bucks

They left band when it disbanded, Brad didn't want to join again when they reformed because he had "other priorities in his life". I'm not sure about Brian, but Knupp was closely in touch with reformed Devourment, so I think it's really wrong to blame Rosas and Majewski for their separation.

try using a Digitech Metal Master pedal, they sound fuckin sweet, and theres great variation you can have
