i have a welder in my s13. i personally love it. its noisy when parking and such but its funny getting looks when your going 5mph and your tires are screeching. just be very careful in the rain at first. its defiantly not for a beginner driver like said before
I want to do this to the rear diff on my bronco ll for off road purposes but i do make quite a few tight turns. Do yo think that this will seriously effect my turning radius?
btw iam on concrete only about 3% of the time, other than that its mud, dirt, gravel, or sand
yeah you would really be able to notice it, welded differential is not for everyone, especially in a dd car with a beginner driver, YOU WILL HATE THE RAIN lol
can you drive normally in the wet or does it just spin and drift all over the place? is it a practical "upgrade" for normal driving and occasional play?
Yeah, it just drags/skips in the dry at low speed... like when your trying to park in a parking lot or driving through a fast food joint. I enjoyed it, and would do it again but its not for everyone.

Nice, had any troubles with the diff since you welded it?
SoarerUZZ31 3 years ago
Blew one up, it was welded pretty crappy though. They are only about $100 in a junkyard for a used diff though.
