My cat loves this food. I think i'll mix Fresh pet with canned and raw diet. Fresh Pet compared to other commercial brands (like Iams or Alpo) are a tiny step higher in quality.
Oh, and to those argueing: we all know raw food is nutritious. We all know bagged dry food may cause stones in kidneys and bladders. We all know overly processed food is bad for pets. If some people really believed their pets were more of a family member than an item, they would educate themselves on proper pet foods.

I started using it for my old dog who had to have some teeth removed - then moved on to an older foster dog, also with dental issues - then on to my Taiwan puppy whose anxiety prevented him from eating regular crunchy food - & now on to my 4th dog who has some digestive issues. They all love it & eat every single bite .. & they havent looked healthier.
@parkerwolf8 but it still processed dog crap, if you want to spend money on refrigerated dog food spend it on the healthiest version which is just plain raw meat. Raw meat cleans up coats really nicly, it relieves heart worm, it relieves heart problems and it cleans up teeth REALLY well. This is just processed garbage that takes up more time and energy.

@parkerwolf8 It's funny that you think that these facts are made up. Raw feeding removed nearly 8 years of plaque from my dog's teeth in 4 months. He doesn't get bursts of energy from the sugars in kibble anymore but rather has a steady, even amount of energy. My hound no longer gets your typical dirty hound ears. I could go on and on but ignorant people tend to let things go in one ear and out the other. I don't know why you think that researching raw isn't actual research.

My dogs have never harmed me and people have. Dogs have never threatened me. Dogs have never been ashamed of me. @crackface5 If you love your dog, you shouldnt want to feed to them preservatives, chemicals, artificial coloring, etc. They have organs just like us that need healthy nutrients to keep healthy. If your dog "didn't do well on raw" then it was your fault. You should research it more. NO kibble is as good as fresh, whole foods. TOTW is healthy enough. But still. Put all the food you require in your diet in a blender. Now dry it up into kibbles and eat that for the rest of your life.

If you want to feed fresh, species appropriate foods, check out something that actually IS fresh and species appropriate, like a raw diet. Not highly processed and extruded into a plastic chub.
See that table of fresh goodies they claim is in their food ... beef, chicken ... Why not just feed that? Makes sense, no?
Not sure if I'd feed this product myself (don't know enough about it), but I think it could help to make people think more about what dogs should be eating. (I feed prey model raw, myself.)
Feeding a dog their species-appropiate diet and giving them the care they need is not spoiling them.
Dogs are Carnivores not Omnivores. I own a Belgian Malinois not a Belgian Lambinois. I feed a raw prey model diet. If I bought this product it would cost me $13 a day to feed my dog. I calculated it out.
Dogs may be family however they aren't the same species as us. They have different dietary needs and can eat different things.
