I bought the album when this came out 12 years ago, and I can say that the album is wack. "Firm Biz" is the only good track, even with the fire power of Nas, Az and production from Dr. Dre. The track with Cannibus is pretty good though.

Too bad they invetsed too much, and these guys had Mega egos. They all split up and went solo again. But yeah, MTV premiered this video and people were exited, I raced home from work that day, my bro recorded it on the VCR. lol, memeories, still have the CD.
There was just TOO many good stuff out at that time. Many good stuff was slept on back in the 90s. Plus these guys all had big egos and went back to their solo careers. 1997 was a very good year for HH and music all together, pretty much the whole decade.

I remember the fall of 1997, back when MTV actually showed vidoes ALL day with a few dating games any between (Jenny McCArthy, anybody?) Well, they hyped this project for some time. Too bad they invetsed too much, and these guys had Mega egos. They all split up and went solo again. But yeah, MTV premiered this video and people were exited, I raced home from work that day, my bro recorded it on the VCR. lol, memeories, still have the CD.
90s music was good all around.

There was just TOO many good stuff out at that time. Many good stuff was slept on back in the 90s. Plus these guys all had big egos and went back to their solo careers. 1997 was a very good year for HH and music all together, pretty much the whole decade.

Don't get me wrong I dug some tracks off the firm album, but when Nas did stuff like this it seemed forced. Nas escobar was not Nasty nas. He had to get money though so who could blame him. I would buy "The Firm" 2 but I doubt we would ever see it.
