I was introduced to the Persona series via Persona 4, and I personally thought it was AMAZING. I didn't want to get P3 b/c I heard it was not as great as P4, but I ended up getting it anyways. I actually LOVED it.

Both persona games are the greatest RPGs of all time, I can't just choose one... even though I started with P4 XD.

Persona 5 will wow us. If Atlus can create a game better or equal to Persona 3 (aka. persona 4), they can do it again. If it's on PS3, I can't even imagine the graphics!

I personallly(no pun intended) hope P5 isn't on PS3 or have EXQUISITE graphic. i hope they keep it's old style but balanced graphic system improving the smaler graphic problems, and having more character models and poses. Like a small graphic adjustment like P3 to P4's graphics. Think about it, If P5's graphics are to modern it'll make the game less enjoyable.=P

You've got a point there, There faces could be a little clearer. What I mean wit poses is like when Chie was arguing with Yosuke she was stomping and and her hands were all frantic and my mom was like"What the hell are they doing?" I couldn't answer...

the poses could be a little more stable, and realistic....but P4's more of a comic relieve game so I guess i's wierd stances and characters are what keeps it funny.

I agree but is not only P4 in P3 the poses were kind of funny too I mean,I always giggled every time Mitsuru entered in a room she was always with her arms crossed.And Akihiko with the coat in his back almost always too... the MC/Minato hands in his pockets pose was cool though.

I love Minato for his hands in his pocket, He was cool!!! I personally like Minato more then Souji. Souji acts more like a Fashiopn model when you look at it...Back to the point, The poses need improvement. P3 had the same over and over, P4 had a few new one'sand I appreciate that, but I hop in p5 their movements are on time with what they're saying, and more realistic. It needs to be deep like P3, Comical, like P4 and Addictive like the WHOLE Persona series. That's what I need in P5!

Persona 3 was AMAZING. I literally cried a lot of the times. I believe the story line was much better than P4 (even though P4's story line happened after the events in P3) and left all of the players a little more... shocked. I guess that's why P4's ending (the good ending, that is) was softer and more relaxed. (but if you get the bad ending on P4, it does make you rather sad. XD)

Well, having playing both, I'd say Persona 4 was my favorite. It felt like such a big improvement from Persona 3, specially on the battle system.

The storyline on P4 may not be as "grand scale" as P3's, but I thought it was more interesting and better structured. The dialogue was more realistic, and the characters were more loveable in my honest opinion.

Loading times are faster, graphics are slightly better and more vibrant, and the battles are more dynamic, faster.

I prefer Persona 4

Well, not in my honest opinion. I always felt that P4's characters were a lot more realistic and "down-to-earth" than the P3 crew. The only one I could connect with was Junpei, while I enjoyed every moment with the P4 party.

I felt like the P4 crew were actually a bunch of good friends, while the ones on P3 were more like "comrades" sharing a dorm.

But hey, both are great games.
