Janet is a better dancer and does have a stronger voice, but yes Madonna has a larger fan base and is more influential... Both are great at what they do... I think Janet would have succeeded a lot more if she didnt also have to be in Michaels shadow... If you think about it, Janet had to fight to be not only better or as good as Michael but also Madonna.... I love them both, but Janet to me has just always done it a lil more for me.... I have both all of Janets albums and Madonnas great vid
Madonna is the queen of pop. Without a doubt. Janet is the black queen of pop. But Madonna has more accolades/sales/tour earnings & is a bit more influential to pop culture overall. Janet is SUPER influential, though. She's influenced & is still influencing many people.
I think it's unfair to compare the 2, because CLEARLY they both have a level of influence that has been unrivaled (for females) and their talents are very different. Every female artist since the 90s has cited both women as inspirations (no matter what genre of music), and for different reasons. Both are the Queens of Pop.
@MrMadonnaTVMexico I can only guess you dont' enjoy dance, because Janet dances circles around Madonna. I'm a fan of both, don't get me wrong. but I just wish Madonna was a better dancer so some of her more boring videos could entertain me.
