He is the most under-rated batsman .. With bat he is the best no one ahead of him .. looking his stats he will easily overtake the highest run scorer if he stays on for more 3-4 years... With bowl he is amazing at 35 still capable of hitting that 140 kmph mark

well buddy 201 , 161 & 109 (in same test) against INDIA in 2010-2011 tour , Now if you consider India as minnows then i will take your word... in his innings of 109 he has a broken rib bone which happened during the course of first innings where he hit 161 he played with the injury and scored 109 taking his team out of possible losing position to probable winning total , what more he didnt take a runner unlike most of the BEST players.....Watch his stats before bashing him..

@Skycruiserify if pitches in sub continent are flat tracks why kallis avg in sri lanka is just 35 , why brian lara avg in india is just 33 and why ponting avg in india is just in 20s ?

well india is not a minnow but then not at all a good bowling attack... india is great team because of there batting india , india's main problem is bowling other then zaheer khan there is no good bowler and zahee khan is also good from last few years.... and his 201 came in absence of zaheer...

@Skycruiserify well sachin avg in australia is around 60 while kallis just 45... kallis avg in eng is just 29 while sachin around 60....

kallis avg against sri and in sri lanka is just 33 while sachin again arouund 60... kallis never played against great bowling attack of SA....

out of 8 playing nations these are 4 best bowiling teams against 1 he never played and against 3 his performance is poor...

his avg aganst wi when he played against when they had great bowling attack.. was just 40... and now WI is minnow he imroved his avg,

he just played once against wasim and waqar and his avg in that series was 31... while pak today is very weak team and so he is having high avg against them now...

@36pratham the reason why sachin has avg of 46 and not up to his standard because he never got support at other end he played some great knocks there but always remain alone , see the avg of other players of indian team SA , if would had got the support then his avg would had never less then 50 there....

@36pratham kallis is always such a slow player... and dude 1st see sachin inngs and then compare that with kallis.... sachin wa sjust like lone warrior for the team in 90s... while if u see in all kallis inngs there is a centurion or atleast 50+ inngs from other players... while while sachin has played the kind of inngs where next player not even able to get 20 or 30 runs.. provide any ingle such knd of inngs from kallis

@36pratham kallis is lucky to had got such a great team , had he got the team like india he would never had those many 100s and if sachin would had got the team like africe he would have had atleast8 or 10 more 100s.... in 90s it was like there is just 1 man in the team sachin out and everything over for the team....

Kallis has a average of 58.60 against India in India , and talk abt Test cricket only , cuz test in the true format of the game , talk abt his avg in england yea its less but he has a better bowling record in england than akram , If he fails with the bat he can get you wickets with bowl and tough catches ...
