Almost every cat will react like that because cats don't like the smell of it. It can be useful if you don't want a cat to scratch one part of the furniture they really like, so you just put orange peel on it. Works for me, just don't forget to change it, cuz you don't want to see how it will look after staying too many days :O

i was so surprised when i found out that cats cannot taste sweet. (i know thats probably the wrong way to phrase it but tough nuggets) for example, thats why cat food is always kind of bland. if people put marshmellows are something of that flavor, cats cant taste it.

but idk why it wont eat oranges. maybe the scent is too strong because of the citrus.
