It'll be good for new people to the franchise but those, like myself, who have played Ryo Hazuki's story from the start want the technicality of martial arts to overcome the 'chi energy' attacks.

This game is vital for a shenmue 3. This game is mainly targeted at the Korean and Chinese market. And do you know just how crazy they are for MMO games? Its like heroin over there, serioulsy I think it is even illegal to play in some places. If this became a mega hit in those places Shenmue 3 would definately be made. And dont forget sega has just teased a new rpg with that teaser site. It is to be revealed soon. It might be shenmue 3

i realy hope that this never gets released cos it's just gonna kill the game, shenmue I and II were realy special and this just looks like crap! too much has been changed.

what I liked about about the series 1&2 of Shenmue was the refences of fighting moves from Virtual Fighters. It was like a fighting versus game, but expanded to fight additional foes.. But looking at this, I have no idea what the hell I'm seeing. The fighting looks from a chep free online RPG. Plus it looks rigid. I hate to say the series really has gone through the gutter. And the likey hood of seeing a Shenmue 3 is as good as gone.
