u know whats messed up, i played this game a long time ago, an i remember i glitted and accidenty made it to the water side with the serpent on it, i was so excited about saving it, i went to the pause screen and accidenty clicked load....never made it to the other side agian, never knew what was over there...sucks...but this game was a ton of fun :), played it evry day after school :)

Back when I was little I watched my brother play this game all the time. I remember being so impressed at the graphics too. I literally remembered saying to my brother, "Wow, these video game graphics are getting to look more real."

And my brother actually said, "That's why the Playstation is awesome." If only I knew just how "more real" game graphics would get from then to now, and will increase in realism tomorrow.

Okay, I am stuck. I have the highland fling demo version of the game (In which I am unable to obtain any of the secrets), but at the part shown on the second video (Right when Lara returns to the crawlspace after defeating the two dogs), there is a passage she goes into, which is not on the demo version. On the demo version, there is only a gate you open via a switch, which leads to a swamp. Now, I don't know what to do. Should I go in the swamp or what?

The Tomb Raider series died after the original in my opinion. After that the newer titles felt more like expansions rather than sequels per-say. The gameplay quickly became very generic, and the plots were all pretty lame.

It's not supposed to make sense lol. That's one of the great things about Tomb Raider. It always had great platforming and exploration mixed with shooting and old school item collecting. It made no sense in pretty much every FPS game why there were weapons, ammo, health packs, armor shards, powerups, etc just randomly lying around everywhere either.

Does this game have any cutscenes? My version doesn't include them... I've spent some hours trying to find any information about them without any success. I think what made each Tomb Raider game great was the puzzles and findeing the secrets. A sort of lack of enemys, but you didnt have free aim so that was most likely the reason. Either this or TR3 was my favorite out of all of them.

Though I have to admit I didn't like those "Gold Levels" too much. But at least the ones from TR3 are WAY better than those weird ones from TR2. Just remember the madness from the last Level there.. Dinosaurs in a huge City..uuh yeah.
