  • Early Johnny - the best of all

  • I'm not a fan of country, but I am a RAGING fan for the person that is Johnny Cash.

  • @ChainManProductions this is a little mix of country and rockabilly, many of johnny cash's songs is that ;) so try a little old 50's rockabilly

  • so true heystrickland

  • this song makes the old question even harder: is it better to have loved and lost or never loved at all?

  • @HeyStrickland Never had loved at all.

  • There are 2 types of people in this world, one who know Sir Johnny Cash and other who will come to know of him. He's got a song for every emotion, every mood and every story.

I wish I could have watched you live one day.

    R.I.P Sir Johnny Cash.

  • no one can touch what johnny cash has done. "i shot a man in reno just to watch him die." epic line from one of the best songs. even his covers of other artists' songs brought new meaning to them, more than the artists who originally recorded them. RIP johnny cash.

  • Usually country music brings me out in a rash but johnny cash is unique

  • @123jsbach If you had to put him in a genre I guess he is country but in my opinion Johnny Cash was in a league all by himself

  • @DiscosDeFama Kinda what I was saying. x

  • johnny cash will always be great my granpa was a big fan of him.this song makes me sad but happy :)

  • anyone come here after seing that this was the 10 billionth song downloaded on itunes?

  • I've been singing this song in my head for the last two days since finding it here.

  • who could possibly dislike??

  • Too short. :(

  • Years ago I was listening to some BBC program on the radio. The broadcaster played this song and said in his opinion it was the most perfect country song ever written: simple, but deep, tells a story, but leaves something to the imagination, and it just sounds so good.

  • it's actually very inspiring. It helped me get through my heart break. thanks Johnny Cash. Sometimes you find someone you think is the one. But when she leaves, there's nothing you can do but move on. You're given an experience and when it ends, at least you had the opportunity to know someone who could love you in return. But it's time to move on. You may not like it, but life floats on.

  • Nice to see people still like oldies. :] Aaaahhhhhh.....

  • 10 Billionth track downloaded on iTunes this.

  • FUCK MAN. WHY DO I PUT MYSELF THROUGH THESE SONGS -_-

  • Gaby Believe it or not your still on my mind daily.... God gave me that girl to lean on...THEN HE PUT ME ON MY OWN : (

  • Another #1 Country & Western hit for The Man in Black. This was the 26th #1 C&W song in the Rock Era. This song made it to #11 on the Top 40 Charts.

  • bro bro :p ..

  • thanks you jonnie

  • I give J. CASH all the CREDIT he deserves. :-)

  • I've always loved this song.

  • Most likely it wasn't the 10 billionth. Much higher chance of it being the rap/pop with harsh lyrics we have today, but Apple didn't want to endorse any of those songs.

  • That's a good point. I never though of that...it's always possible.

  • your retarded

  • Way to go Johnny (10 billionth song on ITunes) Im glad it was a good song instead of that rap and r&b (moaning music) crap.

  • Just this morning before they announced the winner, I was loading music on my wifes iPod. She didn't want me to put my Johnny Cash on it. Her Loss. BTW, it was Ultimate Gospel.

  • fav song :P

  • I love that the ten billionth song wasn't any of that new crap that's out now, and actually a decent song. (not my favorite Cash song, but a good'un)

Congrats to the man that won the $10,000.

  • Ok so I guess this wasn't an original idea, eh?

  • best song ever!

  • Thanks for adding this classic!

  • To quote any old saying..."After God made Johnny Cash, he threw the mold away."

  • @Labaron26 True. After I made bread (and left it out) I, too, threw the mold away...

  • @Labaron26 using your analogy. god also throw out the mold of Luther Perkins.

  • @Labaron26 Mould
