Tror problemet med om Jærsk er mer dansk eller ikke er pga forvekslingen Rogalandsdialekt (Karmøy, Stavanger, Jæren, Egersund) og SØRLANDsk dialekt (Øst- og Vest-Agder). Selv om Rogaland sin dialekt HAR vært påvirket at Danskene, så er dette i større grad rundt Stavanger, som ble i større grad forbundet med Dansker og Europeerne gjennom handel. (samme gjelder Bergen forsåvidt). Jæren og Egersund ga de derimot blanke F i, noe som gjør at vår dialekt er mer uberørt.

@RavenSymone223 Sigh. OK, I'll explain. It's Jærsk. Since Jærsk is spoken in an area of Norway, it's a dialect of Norwegian. But Norwegian and Swedish are so close that they would be seen as dialects of the same language, if it wasn't for the fact that it's different countries. A language is a dialect with an army. Jærsk as a dialect is in fact very close to Swedish. I tried to state this is a fun way, but obviously that was completely wasted on the commentators here.

You think it's closer to Danish because Jæren is close to Denmark, which shown you know nothing about Norwegian dialects, and have no understanding about how they were formed. I have a friend from Jæren and have studied this dialekt before. It's close to Swedish because it's old, when the languages were closer.
