  • Some years ago there was a demo video of the CS-80 from the same reporter; it has been deleted don't know why; any chance to listen to it again?

  • all these synth are available in auction. but they cant sell overseas to foreigners or people who cant speak japanese. i was able to get many vintage synthes.

  • When I went to japan there was one of these on sale for not much.. I came back with a microkorg because of the size :D

  • i locate the ploblem of your synth, its more simple that you think, theres in the vcf module some electrolytics caps, they must be changed ,0.47uf 2.2uf the tantalun caps too, if dont have tantalun caps dont worry, use the conventional electrolytics caps, i used in my synth, the crackies on the high notes are caused by oxidation on the pins of 741, the pins are shielded with silver and with time they stay dark and conductive

  • Thanks, the vcf now works, looking to find the time to sort out the crakles on the high notes, thanks for the great advice..will let you know when it works properly again.

  • last month i restored a CS-15D i never see a lots of ICS LM741 and RC4558 in this synth

  • Hey, how much did you charge to restore the cs15d mine has problems, adsr not working on vcf! crackles on high notes and most of the channel 1 presets are ral quiet and fuzzy..boo hoo!

  • Hey Marc, I was almost to do one of mine in Engrish! :-) How you man?

  • I really liked the old chunky Yamaha synths.

  • Thanks for uploading. I got a CS-15D about 20 years ago as my first synth, and it is still alive and (almost) well in my basement studio. It was a great way to learn basic analog synthesis, and capable of some pretty crazy noises.

  • Sometimes, our subscribers forget the original reasons we created our Youtube accounts for (game footage, music, etc.).

  • cs sangiu cs giubo cs go

  • Heh...just goes to show...such equipment would be wasted on the likes of me...

    Also...I didn't catch any of that save for "Clarinet-o" and "Trumpet-o," X3
