  • TEXAS!!!! SRV!!!

  • Genio Stevie, genio.

  • Stevie will always live on, just finished playing this song. It's so authentic to Stevie that it can only be played by himself. I love you man

  • No one quite like him.

    What a talent!

  • Did anybody else notice at 0:51 he flips off the camera??

  • @mrbreeze909 He didn't, he was beckoning. He had his two middle fingers up - it goes with the lyrics.

  • I love how he changes the pick up and sets the volume at 1:53 while the guitar is NOT EVEN PLUGGED! A true hero. He doesnt even need an amp. He can hear it all!

  • This man had something special ! The soul was in his bones ! Respect ( R.I.P )

  • stuck on an island with one artist, oh my what a cool question...................

    SHAKIRA

  • RIP brother. This is my 2nd favorite SRV song. Little Wing being #1. This guy knew what he was doing and bowed down to no one. A true class musician. He is missed.

  • @Bassman3264

Great Version no doubt...but little wing ain't his

  • I agree....best Stevie Ray Vaughan song ..

saw him three times in concert ...can't believe it's been 20 years since that awful day

RIP Stevie Ray ...your music lives on and we thank you for that

  • I can't believe it's 20 years/

  • 20 years today... RIP Hurricane...

  • I am a BIG Stevie Ray fan but this is my favorite SRV song.

  • Amazing.

  • the best guitar player ever and he would look good in a plastic bag!

  • My favorite SRV song

  • My Favorite Stevie Ray Vaughan Video and song!

  • Love this Video and this Song! Stevie Ray Vaughan Rocks!

  • stevie ray vaughan please

  • My favorite song by SRV. The weird part is that I think this recorded track sounds better than the live ones. Stevie always sounds better live.

  • From 3:45 on, I had the nastiest case of the chills watching this. Rest in Peace, my man. One of the best, fo' sho!!

  • my god

  • What a monster! Here in bresil, notably in bahia, we all are only bargages and trash music.poor land!..

  • this guy is the greatest ....unstanih

  • Check out maaa band :)

  • Check out maaa band :)

  • Great stevie.I really miss you, notably because I live in a "shit" land, bahia, ,in a shit city..salvador...where we just have bargages singers and trash groups.... ..!rip.....

  • I grew up listening to SRV, and other blues greats like him. Is it really distespecting the dead to ask a silly hypothetical question, or ar u merely jumping all over the original questioner because u wondered the same thing and didn't ask. I mean shit do u think srv is rolling over in his grave because of that question??? So quit the spam comments over the supposed disrespect of an pointless and innocent question, instead love the music love what stevie was all about.

  • Not sure if the comment can be deemed offensive.

  • simply the bestttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • <3 SRV always the best!

  • I realize that this is a VERY off the wall question but please no rude or mean comments. I'm just curious and what your opinions (I'm not trolling or spamming or anything). If he had been a wizard instead of a guitar player, what house @ Hogwarts would he have been in? I know this question seems weird but I'm just curious

  • @SaratheSlytherin not nice comment about the late Stevie Ray Vaughan, he was a wizard on the guitar. Every Stevie fan including myself would take offence at that remark.

  • @oldfart4751 I'm a fan, and I don't think it's offensive. It's not like I was slandering the guy or anything.

  • @SaratheSlytherin A very offensive remark about Stevie, I and every fan would see it like that!

  • @oldfart4751 I'm a fan too, what is offensive about that? Absolutely nothing. We know he was a phenomenal guitar player, I am just asking a hypothetical question, out of curiousity. I don't think he'd be offended, my goodness, there is no reason to get emotional.

  • @SaratheSlytherin there is good reason to get emotional he had an absolute extreme talent and nowadays we have all this lady gaga shit it makes me sick so you should see why people take so much offence. because the guy made the greatest stuff imaginable. nobody will ever come close and we need to preserve and respect him.

God I wish he was here RIP stevie i want to see you someday

  • @SaratheSlytherin how dare you slander SRV ......WOW im stunned you said something that slanderous do you realize stevie is dead we will never be able to even understand his majestics or hear his music again.

rest in peice SRV we Fucking miss you

  • tell u who it wouldnt be john mayer what a dick and wana be .

  • @knowingElvis I would like to add Stevie was clean and sober the last couple of years of his life. In fact before one of his shows that I was glad to have been at. Stevie attended an AA meeting here in town, which was my home group. Stevie held little private meetings backstage before his shows, and would go to regular meetings as well. Which proved to be true during his passing my town. Stevie's last album "In Step" is all about Recovery and the road to Recovery. Making amends and forgiveness.

  • I've finally learnt this song by ear (you may message me if you need help). I'm curious about something! Exactly what is this song about? Is there a story behind it? (I just play the guitar bits; I don't sing it)

  • he plays like his older brother once said, that he plays "like he's breaking out of jail"

  • Stevie Ray was the only person that dress like that and look cool, plus a damn good song,i think one of his best.

  • @dogfaceman1 bro ALL of his songs were the best. Thats why if a Stevie Ray Vaughan/Double Trouble C.D. says greatest hits and doesn't have EVERY song he did, they are LYING

  • @crazycuntryboy2 I Agree!

  • @dogfaceman1 So what. Buy the ones you want. Dog breath

    Peace

    The Doc of the Darkside

  • @dogfaceman1 , you´re so right! he was the coolest, and really the only one to look like he did, without looking stupid. best player ever.

  • I loved the way Stevie dresses...

  • he's so ffffing cool!

  • The man was completely connected with music and his guitar. He isnt even plugged in and he is playing with his switch and knobs. HAHA! talk about being second nature.

  • I'm gonna buy a gyrocopter and guess who's face will be on the rudder? : )

  • @Clearly69 Jimi Hendrix?

  • Now who wouldn't believe it, when said like that???

  • i love stevie...the last time he came to phoenix, i was giving a bach party for a very good friend...i left and saw Stevie..which was the last time...i love his music

  • This is a very sexy song to me...i love to dance to it....i so love Stevie's music.

    this song is very sexyyyyyyyyy

  • @godzillafireman I can play the guitar solo!! Does that make me sexy? :)

  • @SaratheSlytherin always

  • Same sound with Live. Best guitarist ever. Rest in piece!

  • Stuck on an island with one artist.. who would it be??

  • Jimi Hendrix, think it would be fun, After watching the rainbow bridge interview of him, LOL think he could tell some pretty trippy campfire stories.

  • SRV is a brilliant artist. But I'd have to be stuck with David Gilmour. For gods sake he even has an album called On An Island!

  • I'd pick any hot porn star. Thems artists too

  • @Bersaggynuts

Jimi Hendrix. Would be fun (if we had guitars on that island)

  • @Bersaggynuts.

    Jimi Hendrix!

I wouldn't wanna leave that island evar.

We would build castles... made of sand. Aha, too lame? I liked it :)

  • @Bersaggynuts Claudio sanchez

  • @Bersaggynuts SRV

  • stevie of course

  • @Bersaggynuts stevie ray vaughan by far i'd be pickin blues with him every day. but considering he's dead, i'd have to choose buddy guy as my second choice.

  • @avin4723 Man that is a fucked up way to describe my friend. You show no tact. He is flyin' high and free, not "dead" as you so crudely said. Take what you learned in grade school and use it.

    Peace

    Doc Of The Darkside

  • @mrmsrv Man it's fucked up that you're that stupid. HE DIED IN AUGUST OF 1990. I didn't mean his music, I meant the man himself. I didn't mean it crudely, i meant it literally. I listen to SRV every morning and every night before bed to remember how to do it right. Along with BB King and Buddy Guy.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. -.-

  • @avin4723 Hey thats cool brother...It just stings still when I hear that. I know the exact date and time and place all too well. We both love Stevie and always will. I would enjoy smokin' the pipe of peace...Wanna join me ? Stay cool.

    Peace

    MRMSRV

  • @avin4723 mother fucker let me tell you something.he died on august 29, 1990. dont talk shit boy. i will smoke whatever i

  • @Bersaggynuts

    sheryl crow

  • @Bersaggynuts hmmm someone who is smart, sexy, entertaining and down to earth... I'd go with billy corgan ;) hawt

  • What a sound Stevie...truly an amazing musician. I can't get enough of his music.

  • What the ...what was that!!

  • Channelled is right!

I never tire of his music.

    God Bless U SRV

  • Stevie didn't so much play a song, more accurately he channeled it. What a privilege that he lived in my time, and that I will get to meet him in the Great Beyond. Truly miss the man, never tire of him. Could listen to SRV day in....day out.
