Hey Nate. I just watched all your QLPs in two days. Then I created a youtube account (and was hurt to find LemonLyman was taken). I have a possible discussion topic. What are your views on fate/destiny or even soul mates? I was talking about this the other day, after I watched Sliding Doors where even though sometimes you choose the wrong path, fate or God will guide you back to the right path. Or maybe life is chaos and random and there is no grand scheme, just the choices and mistakes we make
can't do much with denim. i've tried. maybe stretch em on a wooden frame and use it as a canvas if you like painting. or bedazzle them? people love bedazzling denim.
you could try to make a wallet.
OR find a pair of old shoes and hang them all from the ceiling in a way that it looks like there's half a person stuck in your ceiling.
To accomplish this feeling of matter, I believe that I would need to be helping ppl more...b/c if ppl need you, you will feel like you matter.
This harkens back to the QLP- about whether or not you should pick a job that helps ppl? It's not necessary, but I think it would give an automatic feeling of matter- knowing that you are benefitting other ppl and their lives would be worse off without you.
Also, I want to get a cocker spaniel---that would add some matter :)

Good question to tackle...I agree that we matter b/c we think we matter.
Most of the time I feel like I don't matter....b/c I don't think I do. I've got a pessimism problem, but I'm working on it.
Maybe if I took proactive actions to make myself feel like I mattered, then I would actually matter (b/c then I would think I do)
