  • the 8'' and 10'' have maple in them as well but mostly birch

  • This might be a longshot but does anybody got any clue which snare is being played at 1:43 ?

  • Why is it not a picture of the Diamond Burst Finish?

  • this iz just beautifl

  • how thick is the shell from the snare in mm? does anybody knows?

  • If you are a decent player.. you can play any kit ...but ....a great skinned and sounding kit bring the player out in you ..for sure!

I am giving Pearl their new Catchphrase -

" Pearl Drum s - Brings the player out!" "Pearl Drums - Just add PLayer " , "Pearl Drums - Find the Player within !" , Pearl Drums - Release the inner drummer" , Pearl Drums - WE made the KIT ..You bring the HIT!"

  • Just got myself a used Pearl Reference snare in mint condition for less than half the retail price, SO HAPPY!

  • On this rack how do they get the small bar to fit the racks together. They show it at 1:00 . I have to know where to get this smaller bar thing. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how much does a 5 peice retail?

  • My dream kit!

  • fucking beautiful!!!

  • wine red and gold hardware! it's gonna be mine! :D

  • really interesting seeing all the available colours, i would give my left nut for a reference kit. but some of the worst camera work i've ever seen, it felt like watching blaire witch project! clearly the guys was looking at drums while filming, not looking through the camera.

  • nice kit!!!!!!!

  • this is the worst thing I ever heard

  • I think the White Marine Pearl looks the best with gold hardware at 3:14!!!

  • yes they make gold black and silver hardware

  • this dude was trippin on ACID when he filmed this set

  • totes agree there! :)

  • 4:03 the most beautiful colour ever!

  • 4:03 is Inca Gold Burst - beautiful indeed!

We have great specials running on our site now - visit musicforall(dot)biz for more info.

  • i just bought a reference in inca gold burst and it sounds as good as it looks! They are amazing drums.

  • I own a reference and people are often mislead about the tuning of the reference, the bass drum tunes itself, right up there with Ayotte, Brady etc. The Floor toms are magnificent, i have a 14 &16. The 10" is a lovely tom, the only problem was the 12" but after a few weeks and various different skins I got the sound I was hoping for. Finishes are dead on too.

  • stop turning the camera sideways!!!

    makes me dizzy...

    beautiful kit though

  • Learn how to use a f*ckin camera. This video gave me a fricken headache.

  • I love this Green "Emerald Fade" at 2:12.

If the Hardware will be black then it's perfect in my opinion.

  • You can order Pearl's Masters Premium, Reference, and Masterworks drums in black, gold, or chrome hardware.

  • yes i know ^^

  • oh hey! ive seen a couple of your videos!

    XD

btw i prefer the wine red with black hardware looks toally metal! \m/

  • can you please tell how to order the drums. Thanks.

  • Basically all you have to do is go to a Pearl dealer near where you live and tell them you want to order a Pearl Reference series kit. If they are a reputable dealer, they'll be more than happy to help you out.

  • The reference sound is professional. You are asking me to compare/contrast - to be honest: I consider the Export a 6 on 10 scale made from Poplar. For an improvement, you may consider Pearl MCX, which I consider 8 on 10 scale. 6 ply maple - soft, warm sound is excellent for smaller venues. Pearl Reference are $2699 for 4 drums - 10 on 10 scale. The 8" & 10" Toms are Birch (a bit aggressive), the 12" are 6ply Maple, the 13" and larger have plys of Mahogany. Contact us for more details!

  • how would you rate pearl mrp

  • Pearl MRP = 8.5 on a 10 scale.

  • and how about a Masterworks?

  • Say you are playing a smaller venue here in Chicago...let's say Double Door...Stones have played there and the sound system will blow your face away..ok?

Now....considering good tuning and good sound engineer...will this kit sound better than my Export from audience point of view? I have heard cheap kits sound great and excellent kits sound sub-par at Double Door..so what is the verdict?

  • I love the natural maple color...
