  • Paul Jones was great comedy as a heel.

  • Great match. Those were the days.....

  • Great match. Those were the days.....

  • The Briscoes were the best and good to their fans i met ole and he was a jerk.

  • Jack was great to watch, when you were a kid.

  • rest in peace jack you will be missed.

  • In loving memory to one of the great wrestlers of all time the late great Jack Brisco who passed away this week. Now that's what i call old school nostalgic wrestling He was a true wrestling legend and we'll miss him so. Good-Bye Jack Brisco and thanks for the memories. Jack Brisco 1941-2010 : ( ...

  • NCAA runnerup-1964-191 lbs--2nd to Harry Houska, Ohio Univ, 3-6. In 1965, Jack Brisco was the 191 lb NCAA champ,

    defeating Dan Pernat of Wisconsin.

  • Man I remember Jack Brisco, He was one of the best scientific wrestlerr that ever was. R.I./P to a legend

  • RIP Jack Brisco. Thank you for all you did for the sport.

  • Great match between two legends.

  • spectaular match between to good competitors

  • Used to follow Georgia in 82. Never would have guessed Flair got pinned on TV around then.

  • classic match. thanks for posting. must've been a non-title match.

  • what is the big deal about the briscoes they are so boring. They are lucky Ole didnt get ahold of them for screwing him outta Georgia Championship

  • yeah really...that dropped the lemon on that one....

what a double dealing duo the Briscoe Brothers..Ole said in one of his shoots that they we're some of the worst people to work with ever!!

  • Dude you gotta catch Jack back in the 70's. He was as good as there was !

  • Such tragedy that wrestling has gone from THIS! to a weak pathetic boring bullshit WWE!

  • remember this is wrestling what the WWE is "Entertainment"

  • this is a classic!

  • It is quite appropriate to be viewing this match at this time. As we all know, an era ended tonight when Flair lost to Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania XXIV. Also, Flair and Jack were both inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the night before.

  • I had the pleasure of meeting Jack in Tampa about a month ago. This is something I wanted to do for about 35 years. He still gets around really well for a man his age. He also still works out at the gym every day. Very down to earth and really a nice guy.

  • Great match

  • I agree that these should be back on TV - somewhere. But someone, who owns the rights to them probably won't do it.

  • I wish these Mid-Atlantic wrestling programs were back on the air. Put them on a new channel like Wrestling classics or something. If you can have a soapdish network showing old late-night shows like Dallas and Dynasty or the Sleuth channel showing old action shows like Magnum P I why not wrestling?

  • as i posted on the ric flair doesn't take on leroy dargin video, this was broadcast on august 21, 1982.

  • Thank you for the dates! It's tough finding air dates on some of this older stuff.

  • Paul Jones has a short memory. He pinned Terry Funk for the U.S. title in 1976 with a backslide.

  • Never saw Brisco work with Flair before...terrific!

  • Yeah, this is the first time I've seen these two wrestle each other, too.

  • actually, i remember this was the first time i ever had seen a backslide also. - it quickly became a very common move though.

  • Just a great match from the golden age of Mid-Atlantic Wrestling. Thanks for posting it.
