I ran across this video interview with Elizabeth Gilbert only by accident, a YouTube recommendation; but I'm glad I watched it because she's different than I imagined when hearing about her so now I want to check out her book.

I never intended to be a novelist either. I wrote three novels and I have tried time and time again to revist them and revise them, but its been to long and I am in a different place so it is hard for me to even read them.

Wow! I'm suffocating from the hate, bitterness, and judgement. How apparent it is how unhappy you are! That's not Liz Gilbert's problem, its yours! Its an Autobiography, and if you think you aren't narcissistic and self-indulgent, take a better look in the mirror. Find a hobby that doesn't involve making comments that bring everyone down!!

Where was I? I just found this and read it last week. There is quite a lot of self indulgence but then that was the reason for it in the first place and I feel it is a girl's book...hope Ketut is making lots of money from it!!

I have not read the book yet. She is very likable and I cannot wait to get my hands on this. It was recomended to me for reasons I understand now that I find out more about it. The reason people, female and MALE, are embracing this book that seemed to be more of a personal project is because we are moving into an age where we are realizing that spiritual crystalization and self discovery is the answer. We are Love.
