  • To continue with what I was saying you want to plant your columnar cacti about 2-4 inches deep in the soil, make sure the soil has great drainage, it helps to add coarse sand to enhance drainage and to prevent root rot, do not use "sandbox sand" as this will compact once you water.

with succulents you want to just take cuttings and keep them in an area with high humidity, soon they will start sprouting air roots.

oh yeah as my last post says the genus trichocereus has been renamed echinopsis.

  • Expert village is the worst channel for cacti information, seriously.

Cacti are made to survive, so to hear that lady say "this one looks bad" or whatever she said proves that she knows nothing about them, or succulents.

If you cant grow cacti then you are never going to be able to grow anything in your life, they are soooooo easy to grow.

If you want to make a cutting of say a species of trichocereus (echinopsis) just simply cut with a sterilized knife and let it dry, they plant in dry soil

  • @weiliiiiiii Expert village are the worst for everything. lol. Their videos are so useless.

  • @weiliiiiiii I learnt how to grow my Cacti from her video . To my opinion , she really treats those Cacti like her friends.... I get her point anyway.... cute tho... ( sometime after I cut my Cacti I say " poor little thing " , no big deal。 to me. you kinda of rude....
