I have done it to catfish, perch, blue gill, bass and walleye. It only takes about 12 seconds and you do not even have to wash the fish after you do this method.

Your supposed to cut into the jaw to get that meat under the Pectoral fin and above the pelvic fin, and leave the tail meat on to maximize yield.
