I'm not a fan of Lana or Clana. I watched "Power" for AM's directorial debut. I was surprised that she could make Clana SOMEWHAT watchable.
Anyway, I am right about the ratings. The audience isn't trying to schedule time to sit through Nois/Cnois episodes while they will do this with DC mythos/SV canon episodes. And I don't think DVR ratings don't take into account people who skip the parts they don't like. And many on TWOP mention that they have done this in regard to Nois/Cnois.
im watching E! early this morning and what terrified me that, smallville is in the list 'wont make it to the next season'... i hope this isnt true. pls dont hate me ... im a smallville fan 2..confirm this issue for me.
and the budget's so high!!! personally, I've also heard that (spoilers) some actors have already signed up for a 10th S and now they don't want to renew it??? unbelievable...
There was a decent dip in the overall ratings between last season and this season. It lost a lot of viewers and it's not that surprsing that the CW might not to renew it.
Highest rated episode this season was "Absolute Justice". It was watched by fans who had stopped watching the series and only tuned in for the JSA and Geoff Johns.
Top 3 episodes after AJ? All DC Comics mythos/Smallville canon-heavy: "Echo" (Toyman's return), "Kandor" (Jor-El and Zod), "Idol" (Wonder Twins).
And the four lowest rated (not counting DVR) episodes this season are "Metallo", "Rabid", "Pandora", and "Persuasion". All four are Nois/Cnois-heavy episodes.
I used the non-DVR ratings for both of my comments here. I feel that that these ratings reflect viewers who have taken the time out of their schedules to try to see the episode live rather than DVR it and just fast forward through the portions they don't care for. I'm guessing that DVR ratings don't take into account the fast forward.
@harmier I understand what your saying but those episodes were probably the ones i liked the least so please don't assume we all think that. But you are entilted to your opinion, as am i. xx I think Clois are great, without it the show wouldn't be followng the legend. xx

Is it Friday yet? This clip was pretty cute. Not quite as hysterically on the mark as I might have hoped, although Lucy's shriek was right on target. Still eagerly awaiting the next ep with breath fully baited!
When I saw this originally, I thought, "What the hell?!" But I also hate the character and the actress, so I watched it again. I enjoyed it immensely. :-)
WHAT THE F...?! The dancing part looks really goofy and off character! And that song doesn't help at all...HOWEVER, Lois does look good and hopefully this whole bit will make sense when the episode airs!

Chloe and Oliver are the only reason I still watch this show. It used to be wicked but Tom Welling just can't act anymore and he's lost the ability to smile. Plus it's season 9 and he can't even fly yet. This show used to be soo good but since season 7 its gone soo boring!!!!
In the trailer Clark seems confussed I wonder how she told Mrs Kent, I love how she called her mum I am super stoked for this episode, and she definently said sis but I was unawear that they had found her I thought she was still MIA I can't wait it's driving me nuts. the dance routine is a little strange I bet it was hard to keep a stright face filming that. GO CLOIS.

Highest rated last year (non-DVR ratings):
1. "Bloodline" - Promo: Has Clark and Nois, but features Kara's return and the PZ. Also sold as DC Comics mythos episode what with Faora.
2. "Odyssey" - Promo: Nois appears for a second, features return of Justice League.
3. "Identity" - Promo: Nois shown, features Jimmy getting picture of RBB and possibility of Clark's secret being outed.
4. "Legion" - The Legion and Lana. No Nois.
5. "Power" - Lana and AM's directorial debut. No Nois.
