  • Love your journal ideas! (:

  • Great background music!

What's that song playing in the background?

  • @victoriacsd It's by a band called Captain Pablo I don't remember which song you can find them on Facebook, a friend of mine plays trombone for them in studio. They are pretty awesome!

  • OMG i LOVE this but were did u get book like how did u make the book not the pages the book?????????????? plzzzz ANSWER

  • @wiker77 I try and answer all YT questions. I did not make the book I purchased it on etsy from a guy calls bastiano. He doesn't have stuff up right now, but his work is AMAZING. I was fortunate to get one of his books, he does NOT make many and all the pages are of recycled materials, complete with stamps and what not adhered to them.

  • awww thats awsome.....i might do a travel journal :P

  • @DaisyPanda123 travel journals are great

  • yeah i can see that lol they look cute and handy :)

  • What about the jellou roll pen

  • @antoniomanley you can also get that through jetpens, I got mine at Michael's arts and crafts. They are made Sakura.

  • @antoniomanley the jeely roll pen is made by sakura and is available online through jetpens and in stores

  • Where so you get the jelly roll pen and the brush?

  • @antoniomanley I got mine at Michael's art's and crafts. you can also get them through Jetpens.com or other online retailers. the brush is a koi brand waterbrush

  • Really awesome! :D

  • @fridayeudaemonism thanks!

  • What kind of pens were you using to write ? Black marker, black ink? What brand?

  • @daligoddess2006 The first pen is a martha stewart bullet tipped permanent marker, as much as it pains me to admit it, it's a fantastic marker and long lasting. The second "pen" is my trusty koi waterbrush filled with permanent waterproof india ink It's awesome but I'd suggest a ninji or kuretake waterbrush rather the the koi, the koi has very soft bristles.

  • Thanks!

  • Good to see you got some journaling done!

  • @EvelineUK not much but some :) It keeps me sane, sort of.

  • I know what you mean! Oh and.. I'm getting a video camera for Christmas and my bday (dec. 30th). So after that, no more excuses about not doing another video. ;)

  • @EvelineUK Awesome! I want to see more of us on here, making art and videos of art journals and all that cool stuff. I can't wait to see more of your work.

  • How ya gonna work on ya art journal on ya mamas quilted table topper? LOL Did she make it? Nice page hun. glad ya home safe & sound. Hugs~

  • @SHEWHOWANDERS LOL She did make it. My family is very crafty- my mom is a quilter, knitter, cross stitcher etc... and my dad is a wood worker.

My Mom would say: It's made to be used.

She WOULD kill me if I got ink on it. LOL

  • Thanks for sharing... its the way I get my fix lately, since I've not been able to take the time to do my own art and journal stuff. Hope all is going good for you.

  • @Cybelemoon try a smaller journal. I knew on this trip I wouldn't have time for my full sized journal. So I used this much smaller one instead. It helped that I didn't need to dedicate a full hour for each page just a few minutes hedre and there.

  • That is something I have thought about, just haven't had the time to take a breath lately. My daughter wrecked her car, her b-day is in two weeks and then there is the holidays and more birthdays and family visits and EEKS... I'm seriously thinking I need a road trip. LOL Can't afford one tho. I will try a smaller journal, and focus on just doing one little page and not feeling like I have to finish it. :D Thanks

  • believe me, even if all you do is scribble on the page it will make you feel better. Take 5 minutes, lock yourself in the bathroom and take some time to breath. It's worth it. (Sorry to hear about your daughter's car wreck that has gott o be stressful)

  • Yeah, We only had liability so all repairs to car are out of pocket. :( But at least there were no injuries, that is the important part! But I was thinking the same thing, hiding out in the bathroom! :D

  • when I was a kid that was the only place that was private. Car repairs are so expensive. I'm sorry to hear about the expense, it's rough! Whatever doesn't kill us makes us stronger... Right?
