Well I got the PS3 so I could play the International version of the game. They released that as a PS3 exclusive. Besides, the PS3 gets free internet. You have to pay a monthly fee to have X-Box Live. But I still plan on getting a 360 as well in the future so I can play the exclusives it has like Gears of War, Fable, and Lost Odyssey.

And of course it looks better on 360, it was the lead platform. Just like FF 13 looks better on PS3. Porting a game over to different hardware is always a challenge. So just go play the game, have fun, and quit over-analyzing every little pixel.

The Xbox version does look a little better, but for my money the PS3 version is still the one to get because of the Japanese voice option and the original artwork. The localisation was pretty bad on SO4. The only 'perfect' version IMO is the JP 360 release.

to me the xbox360 version of the game looks bad while the ps3 version looks good. I have it on the ps3 version and my friend has it on the xbox360 version. We both put are Best HDTV to each other and try to see the differences. We both end up saying its more better on the PS3 then xbox 360. Maybe ur TV was no good or was bad and thats why it blur on u. :)

I love both consoles and undoubtedly better on 360. The sky and cloud, look at edges forearm armor textures and detail, same as color on hair, background. Its all a matter of choice. But you have to hand it down for 360 as its a very old game and still looks great compared to many other rpgs out there.

Aside from that I'm enjoying the game thus far :D and my favorite character to play is Reimi and Meracle (gotta love the CQC combos she utilizes lol)

i have both too and i also confirm that the Ps3 loads faster plus blurry graphics, but in the 360 its load slow even with the game installed but the graphics are clean and sharp, also de lightning effects are better, btw i finished the game in my ps3 and 360 :D

Also notice on 0:49 the detail on the spaceship in the background is better on the PS3 than on the 360. The PS3 version you can clearly see the ship, but the 360 version is darker.

The lighting as well as the shadows are much better on the PS3 version, and I think the PS3 version looks better overall. Not tat it would make any difference on my TV. I need an RF modulator to hook up anything with a composite cable or newer to it :(

I have both consoles...and while the PS3 loads FAR faster, its all blurry throughout the cut scenes (which are EVERYWHERE and can last 30 minutes! LOL) and yes the XBOX loads slower but the graphics are cleaner ans sharper. So its a toss up. Blurry graphics on one disc, or sharper graphics on 3. lol

It IS crazy how you lose almost ALL of the detail of the skin on the PS3 though...

@kenny6446 The graphic is beauty in 2 consoles, but, on PS3 the bloom effect are more intense, it look like there is no serrated stuffs on chars moviments, because the smooth light hide it. Otherwise on xbox 360, the serrated stuff are more notable, on chars moviments...

This game is so fucking cool, but, expected more from battle... Just because of decreasing of quality, they took many of graphic effects of battle, just to improve FPS. u__u

Also, the only diffrence I see in both game play footage is, the PS3 Has Boosted brightness so the characters don't look as dark with molted brown colors in the shaded areas. That all there is.

Ps3= Brighter, with bonus material

Xbox= Darker.

If the game plays the same, if the story is the same then all of this comparison is NOT recommended at all. So what if the ps3 loads quicker, so what if the 360 aquires 3 disc, it doesn't really matter at all. When you think about it, there the same game, with the same story line Thats the important stuff.

If the PS3 loads quicker and has 1 disk and looks a bit better, for me the choise it simple. At some parts it looks better on the ps3 and at some parts it looks better in the 360. Though Iinn the 360, the movements are slightly choppy compared to the PS3 but it's barely noticeable. But nonetheless, i'd have to say, either one looks great and it shows how far CG scenes have come over the years.
